Scree, only time would tell how they would choose to exercise it, but they would have the legal power to do every bit as much to the runner-up as they could to
the winner. From what I understand, poor Bo Bice found that out first hand. I don't think that losing to Carrie helped him ONE BIT in terms of having the
freedom to create the album he wanted...

Jason was so great tonight.
I'm so glad I voted last night. All is well in the Idol World.

What a disappointment. Why couldn't he do a duet? Oh Jason.

Yay for the true American Idol
I actually preferred his Hallelujah tonight to the one in the semis. |

JASON LOVE.
They definitely didn't show him enough tonight but he was fantastic on Hallelujah. |

I don't have a problem with Jason not getting a duet as I enjoyed his moment with "Hallelujah". And he looked so happy at the end when the
confetti was coming down for Cook.
Looking forward to hearing what he chooses to sing on tour!! |

Poor guy was shaking like a leaf. He so could not have handled the finals. 4th was perfect :)
I can't wait until he gets to start singing his own songs. |

Haven't read the most recent pages of this thread so forgive if this has already been said recently. Had to pop back in to remind my Jason buds:

You know, when you feel heat you move-that's what I learned with a candle.*slaps forehead* What a dork I have the exact opposite reaction.I'm in the minority, I know. I'm just tired of Daydream, Hallelujah and SOTR... |

I'm in the minority, I know. I'm just tired of Daydream, Hallelujah and SOTR... I can't wait to hear him sing something new either. I would imagine he would be doing the full version of one of those songs for the tour. He just HAS
to do one of them.

Poor Jason was so nervous...and I thought they slowed the song down too much. And curve I agree with you, I wish we could have seen a duet. I saw it as an
insult rather than an honor that he had to sing alone (and it was a repeat song) but I guess there are different ways of interpretting it.
