I could grab a beer now, I'm no longer under-aged (turned 21 on the 3rd). I don't like beer though, I like mixed drinks.Congratulations, but I'm really starting to feel sorry for you people. Our legal drinking age is 18. We have universal health insurance. And we don't pay tax on lottery or game show winnings. (Hear that, Hatch?) Totally agree that an OTTN is in order for Natalie. She definitely had the weirdest edit ever, and her final rating should reflect that. Although she was so
neglected during the first 10 episodes, Episode 11 alone makes her lasting impression an OTTN. No casual viewers will remember her as being UTRN, they remember
the bitch Natalie.

ETA: Yeah, I voted for Yau as UTR for the final rating but he's UTRP on here, that's a mistake and I don't feel like changing it.

P RangeIf Natalie is N, Eliza is P. Also I noticed on that chart that Ami has more P votes than Eliza. Eliza's tone is .209 Ami is .096 Does that make sense? NO. Also I'm probably giving Ozzy N overall, but that's because I gave him 5 Ns during the season. Ami's edit - get in with one group, vote against Cirie, then plan to throw anyone under the bus, then get called on it and cry when she can't take it.
Please, love her if you want but the edit wasn't making her positive in the least. She went out saying she was trustworthy after viewers were given
repeated reasons to know she wasn't.
I am not all that concerned with overall rankings. Here's a general set for me, but it isn't that important to me overall. Jon - CPM - what else? Mary - UTR - ignored Yau-Man - UTR - ignored Mikey B - OTTN - he talked strategy, but was one dimensional overall Joel - CPN - you understood why he lost sight of the game Jonathan - CPP - clouds parted Chet - OTTN - one dimensional, meant to provoke reactions, fans' had it but for you, bastard! :-) Kathleen - OTTM - Crazy like a...pyscho Tracy - CPP - rooted for the one not given breaks Ami - MOR - blah, too underused until the end, when she got a deserved comeuppance Eliza - CPM - picked on, but even she knows why, maybe neutral? Tough call. Ozzy - MORM - toughest call, not CP, but too much exposition in the game (Amanda, Erik) to be OTT Jason - MORN - dunce, maybe OTT? Tough call. Alexis - UTR - that's about it. N, but what about just plain idiot? I would think that's N, but I don't think everyone would agree.

I didn't think we gave M in final ratings unless the person had a lot of M episodes. Otherwise anyone who had a couple Ps and Ns could be declared M which
is kind of weird.
Joel is a classic OTTN, Natalie isn't. Since when is dragging Chet around like a rag doll (ep.5) and taking to your tribe in an intimidating bullying way (ep.2) less OTT than a few colorful metaphors in confessionals in one episode?

Oo, I think for 3 or 4 weeks in a row, fans saw Tracy and cheered her ability to hang with it, particularly juxtaposed with being divided by Jason/Joel et al,
and she left as the player you wished had made it further. That's where that P came from me. You saw her reasonably explain her thoughts, what her plans
were, and she even commented on her downfall. I know more about her than I do than any premerge boot except maybe Kathy, and more than half the jury (Jason,
Erik, Ozzy, Alexis, Natalie).
I agree about Yau-Man. I barely recall his first episode and he was nothing overall. No way does he merit a season tone. I disagree about Natalie, though. Think Janu. She was INV/UTR most of the season, but where Janu had one blaze of glory episode, Natalie had the joy of eating Jason, then to be blindsided on Amanda, take down Erik and be in the F4. She was completely one dimensional, I know next to nothing about her, and even at Final TC, she was too loopy to miss. Craig, Mixed overall is applicable if you feel it. Cirie certainly. I certainly don't think she's toneless. And half the time I was sick of her, the other half I was impressed by her. I don't feel Parvati was N overall. Kathy, it isn't about quitting, it's the fact that I remember her early comments easily (meeting a gay guy and fake boobs), and that she was as annoying as she was plucky. Isn't it interesting how few P characters there were, and how a lopsided amount are N. And the winner is someone they couldn't prop up as a heroine, based on Final TC? Final TC always determines the season's edits. Michael |
