btw, i teared up too. I actually didn't like simon at all tonight. I'm sure it was scripted but I just about hated him as much as Dawg Randy. |

Man, this whole season reminds me so much of S2. First, the tongue baths every week for Archiebot (same for Ruben - who I liked, but he wasn't near the
singer Clay is) the boxing metaphors tonight, giving Archie DLTSGDOM to sing, the throwing Cookie under the bus thing. I'm fairly convinced Archie's
got the win in the bag, and that the post-season events will equal S2 also. Cookie will sell better, be around longer, and give the great interviews.
They'll even send him along to prop Archie up for his interviews since he has essentially nothing to say for himself. Yeah, I hate AI and am resolved
never to watch again. I almost escaped this year except that damn Cookie was from my town so I tuned in and fell in love with him.
Well, we'll see if I actually can stick by that resolve, since it's fun to come here and belly ache with like-minded fantards, but anyway I still HATE tptb at AI, and have since S2. |

I hate Clay but I'm sure people said he sang better on F2 night or whatever and thought he had it in the bag and then he lost to Ruben.

I really thought Clay would win his season. I think it was a case of the phone lines being maxed out.
DC is leading by 11.5 points now. YAY! I somehow managed to get myself banned from TWoP. I hate TWoP and it's anal moderators.

No, I don't think I thought Clay would win for sure, because nobody on the old Bolt board could get in to vote all night. I tried for three solid hours
and never got in a single vote. They didn't have near enough phone lines back then, or I still believe he would have won.
Jinx, Miraclemax! : )) You know, Clay even admits that he might not have been as succesful if he had won. His fans were so incensed that we rallied around him ten times more than we might have if we hadn't felt he was robbed. I think the same will happen for Cook. |
