SurvivorFanGP, ^ I second that. I'm a woman, 5'6", a size 2-4, and I weigh 122-124. She's at least 155, I can't remember how tall she is,
but I'm sure much taller than me.

The modeling industry, as a whole, doesn't want "fit" body types unless they're modeling for fitness magazines. They want stick-thin, boyish
figures that look emaciated and can fit into an unreasonable size. There are very few famous models with a "fit" body type and most of them are
doing Victoria's Secret ads.
I think Whitney is fine for that size. She isn't fat, she's "soft" and a little flabby. I'm not sure it's any more repulsive than seeing some of these super-thin models who's ribcage is poking through their skin because they weigh 90 pounds. |

Don't know how much work plus-size models get but that is Whitney's niche. It's not like she's gonna be competeing with real models.
Just like they said that Fatima as a size zero was too small to be a regular model. |

LOL at the fact that any of you give a shit whether these girls are likeable or "inspiring"... The relevance of either of those criteria to a
modeling show eludes me. I want girls who are gorgeous (Whitney is - so is Fatima, but Anya, not so much) or at least really interesting-looking and who can
model well (unfortunately, Whitney can't - Anya can, but Fatima's even worse than Whit). By those criteria, Whitney winning isn't such a
travesty...
This attitude you guys have [I guess] explains why you enjoyed that mushy-faced fugly mouth-breather Natasha. Sorry, but I'd rather see somebody win who actually does a good job... |

Drew, none of us here are either. And none of us really think any of these winners will amount to anything. BUT people watching this show outside of Sucksland really do buy into all of Tyra's crap. The only one of these franchises that really IS about finding the next best model is Australia's version. They manage to make an interesting show AND produce models that find success. |

Agreed. We have no control over what they give us (shitty models, shitty photoshoots, etc.). All we can do is evaluate what we see and hear. Given that, and
out of the pool of finalists this year, I think Whitney/Fatima/Anya was the right final three and that a decent argument can be made for any of them winning...

And if that full body winner's photo with Tyra is not photo-shopped to make Tyra look much thinner, than Whitney is a REALLY big girl, because she looks like 2 of Tyra, and we all know Tyra is not the skinniest gal. Where can I see this pics? I tried looking on the CW site, but had no luck finding them...
