Amber had always just looked "okay" to me but in last night's episode, she was absolutely gorgeous. Too bad she hadn't looked that way all
season.

Fantastic season finale, and it's not just because of Amber dying. Her send-off was extremely beautiful and the acting was suberb. I'm hoping Anne
Dudek gets nominated for an Emmy or something for her performance in this episode.
Oh, and it's still okay to take Amantadine to cure the flu. According to http://www.politedissent.com/house_pd.html, which is a website that reviews the show from a physician's standpoint, you're supposed to take 100 milligrams of it twice a day. Since Amber took two at once, she was essantially overdosing herself. Gah, I wish it was September already so there were more new episodes of this show. |

cindi.. i didn't "make that leap" based on them being on the bus together. like i said, i saw the preview a few more times, and it showed them in
a compromising position and (almost) kissing. That's where my opinion came from. obviously, it's now known that it was a dream.. but still. i nailed
the rest of it tho. and agreeance.. it was very well done... and extremely sad.

Loved, loved, LOVED that alternate version of the theme song that was playing in the background halfway through the episode. Perfectly underscored just how
strange the finale has been.

I agree- I thought the waking up to tell CTB she was dying was a bit of, excuse the pun, overkill. Love you hun, now you die. Ouch.
But an amazing episode- and you're right CTB did look AMAZING- particularly on the bus at the end with House. Wow. It was just a beautiful scene overall. Even Hugh Laurie looked great. Sad to see the season end & I'm not happy to hear there's some investigator coming in next season. Did they learn nothing from the Tritter debacle when I had to stop watching an entire season. I was just starting to like this again. |

god there's an investigator again? how annoying.
And Amber did definitely look amazing last night, which i've never noticed. The whole thing was just soo sad, I really am looking forward to september. The acting was great yesterday and I just all around loved the episode. Although I REALLY thought Amber would survive- and I knew they definitely were not having an affair. It was nice to see the memory and how much Amber did love Wilson. Great ep all arond. |

Overall a great finale...but...am I the only one who thought the end dragged a bit? I kind of thought the show was being a little manipulative...
Amber DID look great on the bus, and House WAS vulnerable when he wanted to stay on the bus. |

I agree! I watched that scene as she forced House off the bus and the camera moved in on her face and I thought she was just so beautiful and was surprised I had never noticed that before. I'm and old female and thought she was just stunning. |

pussycow wrote: Only if we were riding the same bus. ;-) Cindi, good call. Now tell us about the season opener! House and Wilson finally realize they are the only ones who can make each other happy, and finally have sex. 13 kills herself because of the Huntingtons, Cameron and Chase move to Australia, and Cuddy decides the only team House needs is Wilson and Kutner, so she fires everyone else. I hate that they killed Amber, I don't want House/Wilson angst!! My pre-any info guess about the PI is that some woman thinks House is her baby-daddy, and she's checking him out first. I'm sure there's some website somewhere that lists every song ever on this show, but I've yet to find it. |

I loved the montage of depression at the end. House waking up and seeing Wilson leave, Wilson going home and finding the note, 13 and the Huntingtons, Taub and
his wife, the old castmates getting together. And I'm not sure if Kutner in front of the TV alone was supposed to lighten the mood, but I found it
depressing as well, given the background he revealed this week.
