yeah, it does seem like a dove tail, but IF all we saw was purple sky with regard to the "moving" island, and IF we see Locke outside his own funeral
already, then MAYBE it won't all seem sooo hokey and lame. Eventually, of course, all that would have to be explained, so inevitably, it will still come
down to some thing ....

I remember last year when a synopsis was put up with the flashfowards...tons of people cried and hoped it was a foiler. I also remember saying..that if
Darlton were smart...they'd put out foilers to try and muddy the water, so to speak. That never happened. I wonder if they wised up this year?

I can buy some sort of old-fashioned wheel control frozen in ice as what controls the movement of the island. I can see it being connected the island
inhabitants who were also responsible for the four-toed foot statue.

Oddly enough, I never knew about Spoilergate '07 until a few days ago. But, during last years season finale, when Jack in the FF said something about christian to the new Head Doc and the doc had a confused look on his face, I GUESSED it was a flash forward, and I thought it was brilliant! A natural progression and an inventive and creative new way to pose a mystery and a cliff hanger. Thus, I cannot imagine why it seemed terrible to the fans when they read the spoiler? it was a great new way to tell the story, not a hokey direction to the story. I suppose last years surprise was that they got off the island, which I suppose could be disappointing. But in that sense, there was only two ways the story to go, they either get off the island or no. This resurrection and time travel wheel...I really just hope it comes together better than it sounds. And, you know, many say the best way to hide a secret is in the open, generally the last place people look, so its possible darlton thought they were being clever with the literal frozen donkey wheel. And, maybe there is a very clever and intellectual explanation to HOW the donkey wheel works and what the island is...maybe. |

I love the new spoiler addition but I think it's probably bullshit. It's too choppy.
There might be bits of truth in both spoilers but I think we've been foiled. I'm kinda glad because I so wanted the magical kiss to be between Desmond & Penny & I didn't want the donkey wheel to be a donkey wheel. Oh, I also didn't want to see Locke dead in a coffin. |

Some things that HAVE to be missing from that recap: 1) I thought Desmond was at the funeral homeAslans pointed out to me that the funeral scene was probably filmed with several characters in the coffin so noone on the outside would know exactly who it would be. |

The spoilers are interesting, indeed. I can't wait to see how it all plays out as to what is fact or fiction.

I agree, Aunt Pappy. I was a bit disappointed in the outline that mysteriously disappeared, but still felt there HAD to be much more to it to fill 2 hours. No
need for me to say I'm giving up on Lost because it seems the finale might be sucky - who am I fooling? I'd be full of shit to say something
like that. You know my ass will be tuned in to ABC in 2009 waiting for episode one of S5.
I'm not giving up til the series finale. And you're right, some people feel like they have to be pleased all the time. I understand expressing disappointment but quit with the "I'm not watching this show anymore" because you probably will. |

i have another question, sort of like hurley's in the last episode: if Ben kills Keemy, why move the island still? Especially if its unpredictable?

I'm guessing because Widmore still knows where it is and will just send another team in there. If they move the island then Widmore has to start his search all over again. |

I had thought all along the he in the coffin was Locke.

No suicide for Locke. Even off the island and back in a wheelchair, he still has a purpose to his life. No, John Locke goes into hiding, but is discovered by
Widmore's forces and murdered ... or does he just fake his death to smoke out Widmore?

According to Dark, ABC had the vids taken down. I don't know exactly what right they could claim in doing so though.

Probably threatened a lawsuit.
ETA: Wonder if they realize we have both spoilers posted here? |

Better watch out for the lawyers yourself Badger (and Scree)...
Of course this spoiler is freely being discussed over at the "Other Site". Maybe it's all a ruse to add credence to their homemade foilers... |

Kristin is reporting that one female character is not going to be seen in next season.h..but will return for the final season. Maybe this is Juliet? I'm thinking Claire. (It's quite obvious, anyways)
