I'm thinking that Marie is "on" something. Prolly not meth - not paranoid enough and no facial sores. More like she's a cokehead and hubby
doesn't have a clue. He's too busy boosting Cuban cigars off of the dealers he's bustin'

This show just plain rocks. They will definitely bring it back, I can't imagine them not.

"You look like Lex Luthor".
Not sure what they're gonna do w/ the shoplifting angle....I was curious about that way back when she ripped off the shoes earlier this season.

I was glad to see a return to the dark comedy in this ep. I enjoy that part of it. The junk yard scenes, when they were debating the merits of meeting at the mall, plus Walt's hat and sunglasses guise made me giggle.
As far as shoplifting goes, don't most middle class women who steal really do it for attention? or some sort of compulsion? Maybe we'll find out next season that her husband has some serious issues, like cheating or whatever, that has brought out some mental disorder in Marie. |

Ok, so it took me about a month due to school and outside interferences, but I FINALLY caught up with season 1.
Hell, just so awesome. I don't even want to go into detail about it, haha. Just out of curiosity, is Walt Jr. (the actor who plays him) really handicapped in real life, or is he just really good at acting that out? |

I believe the actor has cerebral palsy, but apparently it's not as bad as his character on the show. He doesn't need crutches to walk. So I guess
some of it is acting, and some of it is based on his own personal experiences.

The line that still resonates to this offseason day is how Walt starts off the season leeching onto worthless meth boy and by the end of the season is all
"Don't you want to make something of yourself" to him.
This via cooking meth. This show was the best show cut short by the strike that was without a support network. Hopefully, the A&E suits are on meth. |

OMG FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so relieved! 13 episodes? As opposed to the original 7? Yeahhhh bitch! (Sorry, carry on.) |

That's great news!
It would be nice if we got the final 6 episodes of season 1 in addition to the 13 new episodes. But I'm not complaining. |

I read that Breaking Bad actually got higher ratings for AMC this season than Mad Men.
BB averaged 1.4 million viewers per episode. MM averaged 1.1 million viewers. I had figured it would be the other way around, but I'm glad Breaking Bad is doing so well. |

That doesn't surprise me, actually. They're both great quality shows, but I could see Breaking Bad appealing to a broader demographic than Mad Men.
