My expectations are low so there is only one way to go and that's up. It looks like we already have a premature Kumbayafest for AI7, so I wonder if that
will carry. 14 days til the crapfest begins.
And yes CI3 sucked major ass. It was by far the worst season. |

CI4 had the worst Top 10 though imo.
Eva and Sarah > everyone else who sucked. Sarah was robbed too btw. |

I disagree.
CI4's Top 10 was marginally better than CI3. Even if you hated Craig, he was ten times better than TrainRex (well, that's not saying much, but still...) Brantard Moans and Kati Bratwurst were the only bad apples that season and they left quite early, so it's all OK CI3's Top 10 was awful beyond words. The wrong people got through each round (Dariyah instead of Goddess Jenn or Stephane, EmBot instead of Julie Tellier, FaFuCanu instead of Dianelys). And a lot of 'em showed their inexperience on stage which created a lot of awkward television (Corpsey, Dariyah). And then there were those that truly sucked like Snoozi Yawn and TrainRex. And Mel is not that good of a singer anyway. She was the best of a bad bunch.

Craig is better than TrainRex, but I still hate CI4's Top 10 more.
I didn't really care for any of the people you mentioned except Julie Tellier, she was robbed. She should have made it over EmBot for sure and then she was robbed in the wild card too. Barrett was also robbed. |

say what you want about CI3, but i know i had way more fun watching that season then CI4 or CI5. for me, each season has been worse then the one before it,
excluding the first season which i didnt watch religiously. i would be very happy with another season like CI3, a winner that i really loved to watch prosper
while having some great other performances. CI5 and CI1 are the only seasons where i never downloaded any performances by anyone ... because they all were
cruddy

I liked CI4 until Keith got eliminated. It was destined to be a decent season, if not for the tweentards and regionalism.
 It also had the strongest group of
females singers, CI has ever seen. Season one was also pretty amazing.....Jenny Gear is greatness!

CI3 wasn't perfect but I still prefer the old format when people could expect to make the Top 10 based on a great performance and the interesting
contestants who didn't make it had a second chance with the wildcard. The new format allows for too much coasting and works against those who take risks at
the early stages. With the same folks to vote for each week regional voting also comes into play much earlier with the current format.
CI4's Top 10 was hit and miss. I think I would put it slightly below CI5 because most of the young people went far and the older ones were bounced early on. Also the women were overall better than the men (Rob and Tyler Lewis had their moments but that's about it) and yet only one woman made the Top 4. CI5 had older, more mature performers for sure which was a plus. However most of the Top 10 contestants were 'good,' not amazing but not awful either (well maybe some of Jaydee's stuff was awful), which often made for a snooze fest. There was a genuine lack of excitement most of the time. Brian is a fine winner but the Top 10 would have benefited from more Montana, Mullendore, Andrew Austin etc. Craig is better than TrainRex Blashphemy (not that I like Rex much but still) And Mel is not that good of a singer anyway Double blasphemy. |

I stand by my "blasphemies". SRY.
First statement: Vocally, Craig is better than TrainRex (that's what I was talking about) but the music TrainRex put out post-show was miles ahead of Craigina's ballads. They both suck nonetheless. Second statement: Melissa's voice is ordinary. She definitely benefited from 1) the sympathy votes after the fiasco that was Top 9 results show; 2) the record contract (she was the type of contestant that needed to win the contract - otherwise, it's back to high school for her) 3) the single "Alive". |

I disagree about Melissa. I don't think she has an ordinary voice. I don't think she has a technically phenomenal voice but I think she has a great
voice and a voice that's interesting and one that I'd like to hear on the radio more often personally. It sucks that she didn't release another CD
because all her singles from the first one did well with airplay and her videos got played. Now it's been too long.

Melissa has a great voice. She doesn't have a lot of power or a huge huge range, but the tone is clear and her personality brings life to her voice. She
has a great package. It does suck she didn't make another CD, but she's doing awesome with Dirty Dancing, I have a few friends who have gone to shows
and her and her co-singer get as much applause as the two leads, so she's doing well. In my opinion, she's the best winner and the best thing to come
out of CI.

Craig may be a better singer than TrainRex but I hate Craig more.
CI4 at least had Eva, Ashley and Steffi. Chad was good when he was on. Rob and Sarah were decent. Craig could sing even if he does sound like a chick. Tyler was blech. Kati and Brandon were the only truely terrible people. CI3 at least had Melissa. TrainRex was awful. Corpsey and Darriah had a permanent deer in headlights look. Amber was boring. Suzi started off ok but got worse every week. Ashley was robbed. Josh was good but polarizing. Aaron Walrus was trying to be a rocker when nothing was farther from the truth. Embot sucked. Melissa is kind of like a Canadian Hilary Duff. She could be a successful pop artist.

CI4's Top 10 would've rivaled CI2's Top Ten if only Keith/Nancy/Ashley C. made the finals.
I have forgotten what Kati sounded like. She can't be as terrible as Carly Whore, right? |

Cut the crap RB, CI5 is over. Carly isn't as bad as you like to pretend she is for whatever reason it is you pretend she's bad.
Kati sucks, she's like every horrifyingly bad contestant all rolled into one. Shitty personality, boring, ugly, terrible singer, stupid song choices etc. |

Kati looks up into the sky when she sings. That's when her eyes are actually open. I remember going to Goderich and I saw all these Vote For Kati signs. If I had a marker I would've put at Don't in front or a mustache. She was such a waste of space. Ugh!! And my Brandon hate know no bounds. I hated him from the minute I saw him and his ugly mug. His audition wasn't even good and the fangirls were already wetting themselves over it. HATE!! |

Kati also butchered the Dixie Chicks song "Not Ready to Make Nice."
I still don't understand what was appealing about her or Brandon. Kalan while not my style and very feminine looking you could at least understand why he would be appealing to young girls. He was cute and he had those curls. Brandon was just fucking ugly. Nothing about him was cute. Even Craig is cuter than him. |

In no way, shape or form is Kalan cute. Craig is not cuter than Brandon or vice versa. They are all equally FUG!!!
 Kalan just happens to be the most
talented of the 3 (and perhaps the only talented of the 3).
