Wow, that was an amazing episode.
They did everything possible to tug on our heartstrings. The note at the end was so sad. Poor Wilson... And House not wanting to get off the bus so it wouldn't hurt anymore. Cuddy so <3's House. |

That was one of the saddest hours of tv I've watched in a long time. Never was a big fan of CTB, but didn't want to see her die. And then 13 found out
she's positive for Huntingtons. I've always cut her some slack because of that, it's a bitch having something like that hanging over you head. And
the story about Kumar's parents, that sucked too. Boy, what a sad episode, but did they ever set up next season. It's going to be a long summer.

Solid exit for CTB. Just an overall solid finale. Decent experiment year for House cast with some interesting new characters. Thought the new team was decent
and added some new life. Next season I really hope they get back to the some serious work with the original cast. Cuddy/House/Wilson and the original team in
the forefront. Overall a risky and somewhat successful season of House.

I think this finale proved that this season was an overwhelming success. They added some new cast members and took away some share of the time from Cameron
and Chase, but you've always got to be going forward, not backward.
I'm so glad CTB died. I'm even more happy that it happened because Will hates 13, who I would kill my mother to get with. Too bad she's going to die next season from an aggressive onset of Huntington's. |

What a great finale, so sad. Some great acting on Anne Dudeck's part too, I think. I'm glad they didn't leave House in some coma limbo or
something. So sad when Wilson found her note.

that was the saddest geneokerlund27 has ever been about a show since, um, ever
poor amber poor wilson poor house lol @ when they showed how everybody dealt with amber's death in the end, the one bald guy hugs his wife, foreman meets friends, and kutnar eats cereal in front of a big screen tv |

Gah!
I admit that last week's wasn't my favorite, but this week just about killed me. Poor just about everyone! I am glad they didn't go the affair route, it wouldn't have felt right. But this did, as did her being the one who died and not House. Aside from the fact that she took the brunt of the impact, truth is is that drunks often survive accidents better because they're so soused. Anyone beside me think twice (for a second) about taking those flu pills? o.O |

It's extremely rare - almost never happens - for someone to die of Huntington's in the span of one season. At worst, she'll start having spasms by
the end.
Per Wikipedia: Following the onset of obvious physical diagnosis of the disorder, life expectancy is generally a further 15 to 20 years [35]. Death, however, is not caused by Huntington's disease per se, but rather by associated complications, these include pneumonia (which causes one third of fatalities), heart failure (although heart disease, cerebrovascular disease and atherosclerosis show no increase), choking and nutritional deficiencies[36]. Suicide is an associated risk, with suicide rates of up to 7.3 percent; four times that of the general population [37][38]. Suicide, in general, is likely to be underestimated; reports, which have accounted for this, estimate up to 27 percent of possibly affected individuals attempt suicide. [34] |

That was pretty traumatizing. I cried a lot. I think that's the most depressing thing I've seen since Dancer in the
Dark.
