I don't care how bad anyone else is, I still hate Amanda with a blinding passion (OK, as much passion as I can hate someone who comes on after The Hills).
She is so fake, especially with her "I respect you" speech. I've been around people like that before. It's easy for you to say you respect
people when you're in the position of power. At least people are consistent. They didn't respect her before, and still don't. I'd rather be
a raging bitch like Giana than some fake prissy bitch. And who is the random black girl that just stirs shit up?
I also loved how Amanda was telling Cassia and random black girl that Alex doesn't have a mind of his own. This just means he doesn't agree with you, moron. I do agree that Alex needs a backbone. He says he's friends with both sides, but clearly hangs out with Giana/Trevor more. He pretty much needs to pick a side. And, does anyone even have to guess if Amanda's article was funny or not? Just by the little bit they showed when she writing it, it's obvious that Amanda is one of those people that thinks something is hilarious in her head, but when other people read/hear it, no one laughs. I love Adam and his dramatic crying. While I agree that Amanda didn't need to make her comment (ooooh, he said he gets annoyed working at the paper; that obviously means he wants to quit), the crying and the screaming were a wee bit much. |

I actually felt kinda bad for Amanda in this episode. Sure, she is kinda fake, but when you're the one in charge, you have to at least pretend to like
everyone, even if you hate them. (Note: Your boss probably hates you but still pretends to like you. That's how life works.)
The whole ordeal in this episode wouldn't have happened if Alex didn't tell Amanda that she should take the column. Or that Dan doesn't need his own column in every issue. She would have been too spineless to ask him for it if she didn't think Alex agreed. And again, Giana and Adam and those other bitches probably wouldn't have bitched nonstop about it if Alex had told them that he also thought that Dan doesn't need to have his own column. Alex is a pussy who should just say what he thinks rather than being spineless, or "just staying out of it" as he likes to call it. Giana is such a bitch. I don't have a problem with bitches, but if you are gonna be a bitch, you need to own it and know how to work it. She just comes off as cunty when she acts like a bitch and then pretends she didn't. "Oh, it didn't happen like that." Yes it did bitch. You are on fucking camera. Trevor is a sore loser. Sorry pal, your friend didn't get editor-in-chief. Your friends lost the vote on the column. Tough tittie. Get the fuck over it already. And Adam. Drama. Drama. Drama. He's the type of gay that the rest of us don't wanna hang out with. I hope he cries every time he doesn't get his way though. It is very entertaining. |

I think Trevor had problems with Amanda before any of this stuff happened. He mentioned he never liked her.
Amanda needs to decide how she wants to do this. She either had to say "fuck it" and try to run the paper or try to be everyone's friend. There are times you can do both, but this isn't one of them. She needs to realize that people don't like her and some of them won't. Just be the editor, tell them what needs to get done, and if they don't do it, it looks bad on them. Her fake speeches and wishy-washiness just makes her look bad. I do agree that Alex should speak up. He can't play both sides. However, I don't think Amanda should've taken Dan's column away. He had two freaking chances. I think an article could've been written about Halloween that didn't take Dan's column away. But, the thing with Alex shows that Amanda cannot do her job. She needs validation, and constantly goes to Alex for approval/information (she let him take the front page). I admit that Amanda bothers me because I see many of my own flaws in her, but I would like to think that my personality isn't that grating, annoying, and fake. |

I can't believe they would actually put a show like this on MTV, then again they were the network that brought us Laguna Beach. Does it really get viewers.
I assume it's not any good, just judging by the previews that plague MTV. Even though I've never watched this, I hope it gets shitcanned! The previews
are enough to make me hate this show!

I love that Adam won Homecoming King. Amanda came off as somewhat likable last night. The picture thing was cute, but she needs to get over her obsession
with Alex. And, any like I had will seem to disappear next week. She is the one that has been consistently bitching about there not being a team unity
feeling, and she apparently skips the team building exercise. Bitch!

Alex was being a little bitch when they were trying to take the picture at homecoming. I feel kind of bad for him because he seems to be in the middle, but he's starting to get on my nerves. And Giana gets worse every week. I can't stand her. |

So I didn't hate Amanda as much as I thought I would. In fact I liked her more after these episodes.
