SHC, u should really, really watch Survivor 16 Fans v.s. Favourites. It was hella good. Best season in so many years.

Well I can say for sure that the Survivor threads have really changed. Used to be brutal in there way back when. I got flamed my very first post for asking
something naive, ran away and didn't post again for a while.
 But the spoiler analysis and sleuthing was practically doctoral level. Now, outside of
MESS many of the posters just don't get it. Kids need a good flaming, I tell you.

I haven't followed a single show this whole season except for Idol. I'd rather read or watch movies or surf the net, usually.

yeah back in the day dags, it was brutal. This mushfest in this thread back 5 years ago would have been locked.
the only place on here that sorta has shades of Sucks past is the BB forum, they can be pretty ruthless in there.
surfing the net is a great timepasser maze, i don't know what I would do without it sometimes. |

Yeah that's what I did this year instead of watch TV, tried to read, watched a lot of movies and surfed the net. I actually didn't miss TV that much
with the writer's strike except Grey's because I'm very shy and Thursday Grey's nights were my one really good shot to socialize and make
friends. All the girls would get together and watch it, because of those damn writer's I made like 2 good friends this year, thanks to Idol actually.

Mazee you will just have to make time for SYTYCD. Quite a few of us will be in that thread starting next week. And the show is phenomenal.
One of my three favorite hosts--Cat Deeley--is a must see. (Others being Jeff Probst and Tom Bergeron.) Almost every one of the dancers that makes the top cut is fantastic in their own way. Did you know those were some of the stars from various seasons who danced with the idols during IGB? And Nigel Lythgoe is a judge. (Did I spell his name right?) |
