Actually, to be honest - the Father's Day at the zoo stuff came up when I googled the stingray stuff earlier. Rowdy is a STAR, Lindy must be so jealous!
Next summer when my son is old enough to enjoy it, he and his oldest sister will be spending two days at the zoo with me and the wife. My daughter will be the same age I was when I went when they opened in 74. Like Rocky and Adrian and all other retards, I <3 the toronto zoo. I couldn't guess at how many times I've been there. at least 2 or 3 days a year from 1974 to 1999 and three times since. Still think it is the best thing in Toronto.... The ROM being number #2. |

Back to the VW beetle topic....
We bought one 3 years ago - it was a diesel version and got 50 MPH which would be really handy right about now. Sold it a year ago, loved it, however we live where there is a bunch of snow in the winter and found that we could not drive it at all for about 4 months. What a waste. Fun car to drive and the VW perks and dealer are way above the rest, so we miss that part. Great pick-up for a little pregnant roller skate, IMO. |

snow in the winter and found that we could not drive it at all for about 4 months Regina, I don't know where you live, but fyi, that car drove better than my current Jetta in the snow, with snow tires. I think it's heavier or something. ? |

It did fine when there was just a little snow on the roads, but we get over 2' at times and live on a private road. Unless we shoveled about 150' of
the driveway, that VW wasn't going anywhere. It sits too low for a lot of snow on the ground.
