I'm so completely annoyed that Sir Alan seems to have a soft spot for young men...he gives them 1000 chances. "There's a cat with nine
lives." Yeah...you're giving him all of them. What Saira did was no worse than Michael, and I'd argue Mr. Sophocles has had more ineptitude
moments throughout this series than anyone else.
I have to say though, this is the best cast hands down, for me in all four seasons. We have the colorful dress wearing Lucinda, the spastastic hottie Lee, the "girly girl" (LMAO) Claire, the screw up Michael, and the uptight bitchy Helene. All of which do add a lot to the show. What I love most about this show is that it hasn't lost its grasp on its own seriousness. The Apprentice US had been a joke for a while, really nothing to do with business at all. These people and Sir Alan at least insist on it being kept a job interview, and not an over the top bull shit crap fest like what Trump shits out. |

Well, it's all part of the script. Michael is this season's Tre/Syed/the guy who kept escaping the firing squad until the last minute. Sir Alan even
uses the same "well, you reminded me of what an arse I was back in those days" to keep him on, just like he did as he fired a female for the same
crime that Michael (Syed/Tre/whatever) is guilty of.
Same old script, same old shtick. |

At least he's allowed Lucinda the chance to really show what she can do. That shows some improvement on his part. He'd never have let someone like her do well on the show before, I don't think.

Yes. Surprising how well Lucinda has done as PM. Lee is hilarious. At least he knows how to sell. Michael and Saira were dreadful. I had to laugh at Michael
literally screaming at customers to buy a cake. And Saira was not much better with her bang bang bang now sales style. I think Sir Alan should have fired all
three. Also liked how he needled Alex over being a loser again but escaping. It was clear the loss wasn't his fault so it was probably to
give him a kick in the pants.
Got to say the editing was tricky. From the very start it was clear to me that selecting the designer dresses was going to win the task and then they showed absolutely no one buying it and I was starting to doubt myself and then it suddenly picked up at the end of the day. Having mid-range dresses sitting next to cakes that were even more expensive gave a completely predictable result. Edited to change a typo that made me look like I was saying the complete opposite of what I actually was.

Anyone actually like UK verson better than US version, I like that they focus more on the task rather than the team dynamics, and Nick and Margaret seem to
really follow the contestants and make notes, and will give credits to those who work well on the task, unlike the sons and daughters of Trump who probably
visit them for 5 minutes each task. The only thing bothering me is the English accent, which is difficult to listen, for me anyway.

I have an awful, awful feeling that Lucinda is going next week. They set it up in the previews to show Alex as being the one to go, but...ugh, you just get
that feeling.
Knowing the luck of the winners, we'll have a craptastic Michael/Claire or Michael/Lucinda final episode with Michael winning. SophoSHIT hate. |

Of course, the fact that Michael is getting people going, "Why the hell is that literal manwhore not fired yet?" is exactly what the people behind
this show want to happen. People talk, people tune in, mission accomplished. Michael will then slink back to the same hole that spawned Tre, Syed, and the
other designated male Omarosa-types that is apparently compulsory in every season of this show.
I have to admit though, it's not that bad because these irritating guys are easy on the eyes. I love this show. <3 the cute bad boys. |

latest episode of the apprentice aired in the UK tonight and I gotta say...it's been the best one yet. Highlights include a Raef/Michael comedy double act involving amateur dramatics in the back of a people carrier, beloved Lucinda m.orphing into an UBER bitch and a special celebrity appearance (that you guys probarbly wont get)! enjoy!
