Has anybody seen Martha Dumptruck's Cover Girl ad up in Times Square yet?

I think somebody with an office overlooking Times Square is taping an 8 x 10 of Whitney's picture in their window...

I believe the picture would be going up in July.

I actually liked Whitney but this was such a hard thing to stomach through...glad we don't have a writers strike every year. I assume this was a crappy
season?
I thought Anya was going to win, Whitney's walk was horrible. |

The next minority will be a man. Dominique inspired Tyra. There aren't enough drag queens in high fashion and next season there will be an actual man competing as a woman to be America's Next Top Model!!!

I'm late to the party. Yes to Whitney winning! I hated Fatima. Hated her. And Anya needed a brain transplant to even be remotely considered as a
spokesmodel.

Anya can't speak, there was no way they were picking her. Look at how poorly some of the commercials have been of the women who can sorta speak. Put Anya
in there? Yikes.
When I looked at the final three, there really was only one choice for winner. This season had the lamest "models" to date - but that's ok, since the show has nothing to do with modeling. LOL. |

I love those recaps. The best fucking thing about ANTM.

normally hear, but she never slurred her words or anything. What I find funny is that people are commenting on Anya's speech, but if she were someone with
a southern accent, there would probably be people in this thread going, "OMG, but it's where she comez from. She's country!" [/britney

Also, nobody is going to care about how well Whitney speaks when her MLAACG is done and she's not getting any work. Then it'll be all "Worst winner ever!" etc etc etc. (Or conversely, how 'badly' Anya speaks if/when she's kicking ass post-show.) Danielle's and Jaslene's MLAACG were quite robotic and unbearable (respectively) yet both are doing better in terms of modeling work than, say, Caridee who had the best sounding MLAACG of any winner (jmo). I'd rather suffer through a few bad 30-sec. spots and have a winner that can land some decent work, then one who can speak well and turn into some unemployed D-lister. |

CariDee still had her contract renewed, which is more than the other winners can say, besides Danielle. And she is getting a show on MTV.

Jaslene shot an actual CG commercial (under her original contract) like Danielle. I completely expect Whitney to do the same and it wouldn't surprise me if both had their contracts extended in the future. I'm just not sure it can be used a benchmark for success now that two winners have had their contracts extended and really to what end? CG doesn't
seem to be using them for new ads and products.

Why does everyone like that picture. It sucks! She has a serious case of Muppet Mouth going on there
