JP & Steve - There really not connecting with me right now as having much of a presence - they're just kind of there most of the time. They got quite
lucky in the end with the Fast Forward and coming first, and haven't done much of consequence, a third of the way in to the race.
Tyra & Janice - They're beginning to drag a little. They're still funny, but most of the humour from them this leg came thanks to Marvin's obsession with Tyra, and they've kind of stuck in with little to do apart from bitch about other teams. Ignatius & Isabella - Again, they're doing more or less the same thing as they did the previous leg, with Ignatius getting pissy at Isabella, and Isabella just being Queen Bitch. They're relationship isn't really going anywhere and they're kind of clashing with each other a little too much to make them overly entertaining. Gil & Katherine - Gil's paranoia was a good little side story this leg, and Katherine becoming slightly Rose-esque in her crazyness (and surprise at Gil's horror) was actually very funny. They were one of the better teams this leg. Marvin & Harry - Best team of the leg in terms of characters, and by quite a bit. Marvin, who I always found kind of tedious and a stereotype, was hilarious in his love of Tyra, and Harry was along for the ride, supportign his friend. Their dynamic finally seemed to be coming through strongly this leg. Coral & Katie - A nice little change of pace for the team during peace allowed them to develop again as something more than just boobs. They were pretty good as a whole this leg, albeit a little invisible at points. Ax & Tobias - Uggghhh...they're...kind of non-entities still. I can see that they are developing as characters, albeit slowly, and they don't seem to be doing much apart from being towards the back of the pack for the majority of the race. Celeste & Collete / Melanie & Cynthia - The pressure stopped any real skits from appearing, unfortunately, so they need to do something next leg to make them stand out again. |
