"Heaven" and "Imagine" were nearly perfect and all he could go from there was down. Had he saved those two performances for later on he'd have this won hands down. I just rewatched "Heaven" and it really is amazing and moving, but since then all of his moving, slow ballade songs have become stale and boring. This is also why Syesha lasted so long she did just good enough in the beginning to get through and then peaked at the perfect to get into Top 3.

And by the way, Rock Star INXS was awesome, but mostly due to the Chaise Brigade and the Potted Palm Posse. And while I liked Daughtry on AI because, he was the best that season, he had zero charisma and sex appeal and generally sang a little too angry. Just an opinion.
