Why did Fin hold all this resentment against Stabler for all this time? They never seem to have a beef with eachother.

I think he said that its because Stabler's a good cop through and through, but a pretty lousy person (which I can see why). There was no reason for him to
bring it up in the past because there wasn't ever a case where both Stabler and Fin got personally involved, like this one. When Stabler was quick to draw
on the judgment with regards to Lake, Fin saw it as an affront to him personally.

That and the fact that he had them dump Finn's phone to see if he called Lake, without even asking him if he did first.

Maybe bad blood over Fin's son too? Although that was more Benson than Stabler.
And I doubt Ice-T's leaving. He's my fave on that show (after Mariska). Lake annoyed the fuck out of me, but I'm sad to see Casey leave  and over somethinhg that dumb.

Casey has been grating for a while now. This whole season, now that I think about it. That Brady violation, though, is pretty big, especially since she knew
the reports were already dated and ready for delivery. Every junior assistant D.A. knows that that's pretty much a fireable offense if you try and pull
that off and get caught, in addition to censure/suspension from the state bar.

the writing on this show seriously sucks. I watched the episode last week where a kid was raped by another 14 year old kid. When the defense lawyer wants to
present a strategy of "the kid didn't know it was wrong" in front of the judge, the DA just keeps saying "this is insane" "this is
incredible". How about arguing case law you dumb fuck bitch DA! Then she doesn't try to break down the kid's defense when she 's got him on
the stand. The show is inane.

I love Finn, which is funny b/c Ice-T himself is kind of unlikable, with the gangster bullshit and the triple E breasted stripper wife. Someone needs to
buy that woman some clothes that cover more than just her snatch and her nipples.

Lake annoyed the fuck out of me, but I'm sad to see Casey leave X on both counts. I thought she'd at least get killed or soemthing. And people here like Ice-T?? I always thought he was irritating as fuck and out of place on this show. I mean, I don't get the gansta cop ivestigating sex crimes, it just doesn't fit. He'd be fine in Law & Order: The hood, but not SVU. |

RL reason was because she was preggers, show reason was she went to oregon or washington to work undercover in a radical environmentalist group.
Dont remeber much that happened when she was gone but Stabler got it on with his new partner (they at least kissed dont know if they had sex) |

Finally got around to watching the finale and MEH is all I can really say. I hate Lake, Adam Beach annoys the fuck out of me and I hate the whole testosterone cop pissing contents so this episode just did not deliver. I don't buy for a second that Lake would kill another cop (mistrial so in the eyes of the law he's an innocent cop) and basically throw his life away for some random girl that he feels was wronged. He's been in the buisness for a while..he's seen many guilty people go free..yet this time he HAD to make him pay? Pfft. 
Glad to see L&O give Diane Neal a way to return if she wants by just having Casey have to go before the bar w/ a possible up to year suspension. I hated her but in a love to make fun of her sort of way.. I think I might miss her. Fin? Believe it when I see it. I say it was a cliffhanger going no where. |

So, they had another USA marathon...Honestly, I love having a lazy Sunday with L&O in the background. It was "Viewer's Choice"...Which made
me think...especially since the Colombian NAMBLA boy slave episode was one...Do they vote their favorites because of the acting, or did all the NAMBLA members
vote so they could get off a bit...With this show, you never know!
Either way, any casting rumors for next season??? I think they need to give Fin a female partner...Mariska can't be the only chick on the block, especially with the pissing contests that are always going on. I wonder with whom they'll replace Diane Neal...Dick Wolf said an up-and-comer, but I think it might be better to go with an established actress. |

^ Is Finn even staying with the show? In the finale he put in to be transfered but that could just be drama that can be settled in the premiere w/ a talk and
him deciding to stay.
As for Olivia..I like that she's the only girl. I don't want Benson/Stabler and then Finn or Munch w/ a female. SVU has done a great job establishing a relationship between Benson and Stabler..I don't want some annoying female to then get some dynamic w/ Finn or Munch. I like her being the only contract detective and then of course Casey needs to be replaced w/ a female. I agree about an established actress or at least one that has done lots of guest spots rather than some up and comer. I certainly do not want some young, newer actress playing some naive, green character..I'd rather have a more mature or at least 30 something character. |

Well, I guess we now know one of the candidates Lucas didn't invite to Vegas. Michaela McManus (aka One Tree Hill's Lindsey) is joining the cast of NBC's
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as the new
assistant district attorney, effective with this fall's Season 10. McManus will play the ADA assigned to the Special Victims Unit, thus following in the
footsteps of predecessors Diane Neal and Stephanie March.
