Archuleta's camp must be really stupid.
This week they're trying to claim there was all kinds of sabatoge going on backstage and that TPTB are pushing for a DCook win and didn't treat Archuleta and Syesha fairly. We all know they threw Syesha under a bus but his vocal coach is whining about all this shit and imo he's just making DA look bad by association. He's saying that IDWTMAT was originally the producers choice for DA (I don't buy this at all) and that at the last minute they switched it to Cook's choice. He's saying that Syesha wanted to have violins and they wouldn't let her but they let Cook, WTF? They wouldn't they let her have violins, I know TPTB manipulate shit but I don't buy this one either, it's just too stupid for words. He's saying the reason they didn't let DA's dad backstage is because he wouldn't have allowed the last minute song switch. His dad is an asshole and we all know why he's no longer allowed backstage and the banning from backstage reports came last week, well before they would have switched songs or planned to screw DA over or whatever the vocal coach is claiming. IMO if either of the David's camps have a problem with what the producers are doing they should be trying to resolve their issues with them in private and not blabbing to the media. Blabbing this kind of shit to the media makes DA look like a whiny, sore loser and it makes it look like they're full of shit and trying to gain sympathy votes for DA because he's being screwed over. Bitch fucking please, you didn't have any of the other contestants coming out to the media and complaining that TPTB that were screwing them over in favour of Archuleta which very obviously was happening. |

As if I'm going to believe Archuleta's camp all of the sudden cares about Syesha or if TPTB are fair to her. Had she gotten the same crappy song choices this week but Archuleta had also gotten what he wanted we wouldn't have heard a peep out of his vocal coach saying Syesha couldn't get violins or whatever. |

Archie's camp knows how close the competition is. They need a lot of Syesha's voters to join their side in order to win. By including the
"Syesha was screwed over too, just like me!", they're hoping that some of her fans will develop a "Down with David Cook! Vote for
Archuleta!" mentality. So sad.

When Archie's name was read, his family stood to applaud. When David Cook's name was read, the entire room erupted into pandemonium, my entire row leaping to its feet as one. Andrew Cook started sobbing so loudly his sniffles were audible from 30 feet away, and he wrapped Luke Menard in a big ol' hug as Syesha began her farewell song. Tragically, despite my attempts to be nice to this family tonight, I cannot help but note that - in an echo of his behavior from Tuesday- Jeff Archuleta was the only non-judge within my line of sight who did not stand as Ms. Mercado belted out "If I Ain't Got You." Chikezie was pumping his fist in the air, the Swaybots™ were swaying, even Andrew Lloyd Webber was up and rockin' it. But Jeff Archuleta? Nope. And he did the same thing when Castro was had his moment. What a jerk. I hope when his son is eliminated, the entire audience stays seated and stares at him. |

Well when Archie placed 2nd he isn't getting fuck all. He isn't even getting a moment for other people to be assholes at.
He gets no video, no farewell song etc. He gets to stand there and watch Cook enjoy the moment and of course if he wants he can watch his dad's head explode. Cook's win would be sweet for many reasons and one of them being that Jeff Archuleta's reaction will be great to see and/or hear about. He won't be happy if it happens and it will once and for all show what a prick he is. If he can't even clap or enjoy it when a contestant gets eliminated and Archie is safe what will he do when Archie loses. Surely he's not going to be happy for Cook and hug his family like you often see the families of runner ups do. I remember so much nice interaction between the F2 families on finale night from CI. If Archuleta wins Cook and his family will be so supportive and happy for him, if Cook wins Archuleta's dad is going to be a raging asshole. |

Well I feel sorry for Archie, too--but Syesha is someone's daughter, and Jason is someone's son, etc. and Archie with just have to cope with the fact
that he is being robbed because of his prick father. It's time that boy mans up a bit. My 13 year old is more mature. (Not that I actually think people
would stay seated in real life.)
