The Brewers must be banking on a return to the AL. Also, this must thrill Prince Fielder and Scott Boras after their off season fiasco. My guess is that The Brewers are essentially saying good bye to Princey in the next few years, as theyd have to offer him an equal or greater contrach knowing Boras. Im sure Brian Cashman will be more than happy to be a shoulder for him to cry on.

As much as I would like to see him get more playing time than Cameron, it's just not going to happen. And with Hart and Braun likely to be in Milwaukee for awhile, plus guys like LaPorta, Gillespie and Brantley all being additional candidates for the Brewer's outfield no later than 2010, I don't really see a significant long-term role for Gwynn with the Brewers. And one would figure the Padres would probably value Gwynn as much or more than any other franchise considering his father's relationship with the team and that fact that Tony's game seems to fit that park in San Diego pretty well.

He may not be in the top 3-4 in the NL like Beltran and Jones and yes Rowand are. Rowand gets to more balls than those 2, hence his RF is higher. Here is a shock of shocks. Guess what corner outfielder has a perfect fielding percentage? The answer will stagger you: Ryan Braun with a RF of 1.81 Pat Burrell 1.63 OK so they don't get to as many balls as others do, but at least they haven't fucked up their chances.

How soon you forgot your main man Ryan Church. I compared 5 RFers, Church, Hart, Francoeur, Kearns and Nady. I may be leaving out some but this works for me. Church and Francouer 1.000%. Hart has the lowest fielding % of those 5, .978%. Nady is .991, and Kearns is .989 RFs: Nady 2.85 Church 2.49 Kearns 2.43 Hart 2.37 and Francouer 1.67 Nady and Church have the most assists. Based on fielding %, great range and arm, my money is on Church as best RFer in the NL. plus he is batting .325 kthxbye

Last year, I think Hart had the best adjusted range of right fielders in the league. Also, range factor and fielding % don't tell the whole story. You need to supplement those stats with zone rating, etc.

It's all based on what you are doing now instead of last year. And yes different ballparks, pitching matchups, the weather, the sun, the busty blonde in the first row seat, etc can all affect the stats. I know all that. It's not a controlled test.

When I saw the final score, I figured Vargas struggled but after looking at the box score, dumbfuck Willie and his mind boggling stupidity cost the Mets yet another game. There is simply no end to his idiocy. In a tie game in the 7th, he puts Heilman in? Yeah, cause we all know Heilman has been BRILLIANT this season. I guess Joe Smith and Feliciano were unavailable. Oh wait, they both pitched later in the game. Apparently, Willie was saving them for when the Nats had a comfortable lead. After the Nats took a 2-1 lead, Willie leaves Heilman in. He just relinquished the lead, no need to make a pitching change. Nats increase their lead to 3-1, Willie leaves him in again. Nats take a 5-1 lead, and finally Willie's two brain cells rub together and he takes Heilman out. Unreal.
