One of the fun things about watching these movies is how trashy and bad they actually are. The remake is being done by Michael Bay's production Co. which
did the TCM remake also so it will probably be much darker/violent/serious in tone which will pretty much guarantee it's suck-itude.

I don't mind if they remake or reimagine old crap like "Battlestar Galactica" or the original "Ocean's 11" movie, but most remakes just get on my nerves. Who needs a remake of "Friday the 13th"? Even worse, the new remake of "Star Trek." How can anyone other than Shatner play Captain Kirk? That's just wrong, wrong, wrong! |
