Your lips look just like the mom who lied to get Hannah Montana tickets. The one who said her husband died at war. Are you her?

I think they still make Aziza. I had a white/grey/black trio that I used for shows in high school.
Permanent eyeliner scares the bejesus out of me. A lady at the office had it done at one of those eyeliner parties and she likes it. She keeps trying to get the rest of us to do it. Hells no. I won't have anyone that close to my eye with a needle. Also, I hate the materialism of weddings. Hate. If I get married, I'm not going to have a registry. If people want to get me something, fine. I'd rather end up with 5 toasters than have someone judge my taste in place settings. Plus, I own a home, so I have all the shit I need already. |

The permanent eyeliner/eyebrows is going to look harsh if one every goes naturally grey....I guess you can always "Kitty Carlisle" it.

What's the policy of wedding gifts for people who've been living together for years already?
This came up for a co-worker's wedding - the couple were both previously married with adult children from their previous marriages, and had been living together for something like ten years already. We weren't even invited to the wedding and were expected to give them money just because she was a co-worker. This couple could hardly be considered newlyweds. I could see giving a gift if you attend the wedding but otherwise I think not; a collective card passed around the workplace is enough recognition. |

The only place I have ever seen Aziza is the 99 cents store.

Both my & Mr. Spectacular's grandmas have the tattooed on makeup. It sounds scary, but whatever. Also, it didn't stop them both from going
fucking nuts...
As for a wedding gift, I totally agree with this:
zippityboomboom wrote:It's like, gee, you found the love of your life and are now happier than most people attending your wedding. You wants hundreds of dollars from everyone present because...? But then again, the thought of having wedding kind of puts me off. The last thing I want to do to celebrate love is plan and plan and stress and plan and work and stress. Plus I heard the average wedding these days costs like $20,000. What the FUCK is that about? I could take like two years off work for that price tag, and it would last two years instead of a day. Or spend it on the honeymoon. And why would I want everyone who has fuck-all do to with US and OUR life, sitting there, bored out of their minds, wishing they could go home, watching me say how much I love someone? Obviously I will elope. |

Someone on OT had their eyebrows tattooed and it looked really natural. She posted a pic about a year ago. The picture in this thread makes the woman look
like...she has tattooed eyebrows. There are a lot of women at my nail place (AKA asian woman) who have had their eyeliner tattooed on and it looks terrible.
Maybe if you have it done by someone who really knows what they're doing??? |

i had a friend that did the eyebrows and eyeliner and it looked kinda heavy handed. and no way any needles getting near my eyeballs.
as tot he original subject.....if people want wedding gifts, they go register somewhere, and if you are so inclined...get them one. Yes, it's tacky to go to the wedding without a gift, but if someone does the couple needs to keep their flaps closed about it. |

worstdog wrote: The woman in the picture had no eyebrows to start with, tattoo ones are better than none. My brows were there but thinning but the hair had lightened they
look very natural now. The person who did it used 4 different shades to get the correct look. Not one person ever said since I had then done 2 years ago,
are those tats. If I tell them they are they look closer. I really hated putting brow liner on everyday , this was the perfect solution.

I give more for a BBQ type than a black tie because the former needs it more.
I hate weddings because of this kind of stuff. |
