I heard that a wgile ago. All I really remember about it is the part where it looked like you were gonna have a head-on collision with the train, then you
veered out of the way at the least second.
Do they serve beer in Disneyland? I also remember stopping to eat at one of the restaurants and my dad freaking because he wanted beer and they didn't serve it. |

I love some of the classic rides like Pirates, Haunted Mansion, It's A Small World, ect.
I've only been to the park in California when I was younger and then last year we went to the park in Paris. We are planning to go to the park in Florida, Disneyworld for a few days. |

I thought we had beer in "Germany" there - don't remember a beer stand next to the ice cream with the Mickey ears. But, that was 12 years ago
since I've been there so maybe Disney has figured out that beer makes people even happier.

I have to disagree with Trixie, we've always been in early October and the crowds were not bad at all. Unless she knows the supersecret off season days
when there are only eight people there.
Best rides: Tower of Terror (MGM) Rockin Rollercoaster (MGM) Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom) Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom) Mission Space (Epcot) Dodge-the-Fat-Lady-on-the-Scooter (everywhere) |

The one cool thing about the Pirate ride, is that at each Disney location the ride is a bit different. I heard they updated Orlando's Pirate attraction to
include Davey Jones.

I can't remember what the name of the ride was in Disneyland, but you were in a boat, and towards the end, you floated through Monstro's mouth. That
scared the livin' shit out of me as a five-year old for some reason. It was a totally static, innocuous ride too, but something about it. I always remember
that.

The movie was Magic Journeys!! (and yes, they sell beer in Epcot, i think disney too)
Magic Journeys.
Magic Journeys.
Just an ordinary day,
all at once you're on your way,
to a place that cannot be,
no one knows what turns the key.
You have found a thousand eyes,
whirling images arise,
for a moment they are clear,
in a flash, they disappear.
(In a flash they disappear.)
Magic Journeys, mystic flights,
on the wings of unexpected sounds and sights.
Magic Journeys, are they real?
Do they mirror what we think or sense or feel?
Neither dreaming.
Nor pretending.
No beginning.
Then no ending.
You are splashing in the stream,
of an unremembered dream,
you are searching through the eye,
of a seeker in the sky.
Magic Journeys.
Magic Journeys.
You are riding on the winds,
where the universe begins,
through the atoms that we pose,
in the heartbeat of a rose.
Magic Journeys, mystic flights,
on the wings of unexpected sounds and sights.
How we travel, why we go,
is a secret we will never, never know.
Neither dreaming.
Nor pretending.
No beginning.
Then no ending.
No beginning.
Then no ending.

I love Disneyland/disneyworld, whatever. It's just so nice to go to a place where all the workers at least act happy to see you and to help you and make
your stay pleasant.
My favorite rides: Pirates Haunted Mansion It's a Small World Also, the last time we went was a few years ago in Feb and it was pouring rain. It was awesome cause apparently Californians can't deal with rain, so the only people there were the Washington Mid winter break people. No wait for any ride, and most rides are covered anyway. Even for early admission it was just us and about 10 other people waiting to get in. It was funny to see the disney people vacuuming water out of the Matterhorn cars though. Edited to add my fav pic from our Rainy Days at Disneyland:
