I just signed up for a Disney Rewards credit card... so hopefully this will help with our trip. I am planning on taking the kids next year or the year after. I
haven't been since I was like 10 and the only ride I remember is Space Mountain. I am really excited, I think more than the kids will be. :)

Epcot: Soarin' & watching the fatties eat at all the countries
Magic Kingdom: Laughing at the loser/fat mothers who dress up their little girls as princesses in that heat! Disney Studio: Rockin' Roller Coaster & Muppet Theatre Show Animal Kingdom: Tough to be a bug! I hate Disney, but I've been there 3 times in the past 6 years. I vow to never go back. (best stay was at the Dolphin) |

No one goes to DW anymore. Its all about the offshoots and Universal.

Former Disney serf here: All the attractions suck, once you've been on each of them a few billion times.
Best Disney attraction I've personally been on is Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris, of all places. At the very beginning of the ride they catapult your ass on an almost vertical incline..in the dark. Cool g-forces. And the rest of the ride is 30% faster than the ones at WDW and Disneyand. DLP was also the first Magic Kingdom-style park where you could actually drink booze. I loved it. |

Disneyland: Space Mountain
California Adventure: Soarin' Over California Magic Kingdom: Stitch's Great Escape Disney MGM Studios: Twiligth Zone Tower of Terror Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest Epcot: Test Track Disneyland Paris: Space Mountain: Mission 2 (like our Space Mountain but it has a loop, an autolaunch, and awesome special effects) Tokyo Disneyland: Space Mountain Tokyo DisneySea: Journey to the Center of the Earth. My favorite park is easily DisneySea. So many original rides. Their version of Indiana Jones easily trumps the one in Disneyland. Save your money and go. It's not as costly as you would think. |

The best attraction is to rent a boat. It is one of the few things you can do (other than hiding in your room) to get away from the crowds. The best places
are at one of the dd resorts or dd itself or at one of the resorts around mk. Te waterway around epcot and mgm is crap. You can also pay for a fireworks
excursion and they will take you to the park by boat.

Adventure through Inner Space! Damn them to hell!
Oh, and Mr Toad is still there in California. If that has already been pointed out...um, well fuck you, I probably said it better. |

Oh, and Country Bear Jamboree kicked ass. You people have no sense of tradition.

No. It really doesn't. It is one of those novelties you do every 20 years or when there is a new kid doing the rite of passage thing.

Exactly. And for that it kicks ass.

I've only been to Disneyland twice and I have no inclination to go again (my second time was with two people who hadn't been before).
I'd say Pirates of the Caribbean was most impressive/memorable I guess. |

FUCK YOU HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.
I went to Disneyland/California Adventure last summer and there was fucking High School Musical shit EVERYWHERE, especially in California Adventure.. I even saw a bunch of guys in stupid basketball Troy Bolton shirts and I wanted to kill them all and drown them in the Pirates ride. Oh, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea turned into the brand new MUCH HYPED Finding Nemo ride, which I didn't go on because the wait was like... 3 hours. And they weren't issuing fastpasses. My favorite though, is probably... Space Mountain (minus the long wait), Thunder Mountain, Roger Rabbit, Haunted Mansion (they refurbished it and it's AWESOME), and Tower of Terror are on the list, but I LOVED the Aladdin live show. Loved it. |

trebekah wrote: The HSM thing is a moving parade around the lagoon at California Adventure. It happens like every two hours, but it seems more often. And by far, it is
one of the dumbest things there. And the Nemo lines haven't changed since then, since Disney is insistent on not issuing FastPasses for the ride.
If we're going by park, then I'd say: Disneyland -- Indiana Jones

That Hong Kong place has the Mulan Pavilion. I guess it's okay.

Ahhhh...Disney World. I'd love to go there again someday. Fave ride = the Rock N Roller Coaster at MGM, with Tower of Terror and Space Mountain just
behind.

The best thing about Disney World Orlando (was there back in January) was carrying fast-asleep three-year old kutababy back to the Wilderness Lodge after a day
at Magic Kingdom. He loved every second of it, and I loved watching him have a blast.
