Then what the fuck is the point of seperating people into groupings of weak and strong if the challenges vary so as to have different people win all the time?
If anyone can win a challenge and anyone can lose a challenge, then no one is weak or strong, and you'd have no right to bitch about how strong the players
are who get to the end. Currently, it's just like that in that a strong tribe wins challenges and a weak tribe votes out their weaker members. And if the
weaker members survive, it's because they're smart players, like Cirie, or because they're easy votes for smart players to control (like Tracy).
The game is fine as it is.

Kitty Pryde1 wrote: Again, the point you keep missing is to give all players an equal chance to get to the top half of a challenge and immunity, and then send the losers to
tribal and loser-camp. The ones voted off will be the "weak" because they failed twice, not because they are "unlucky".

Pay closer attention: What the current game does is run a team-based competition at first, and then an individual competition.

survivorisdabest wrote:An alliance of six challenge-throwers? LOL That alliance will have to start voting eachother off as soon as there are 12 people left in the game, what moron would want that besides you? They would have to trust eachother and throw challenges before the very first challange, what moron would want that besides you? They would suffer at loser-camp, what moron would want that besides you? They would know challenge-throwers never win a million, what moron would want that beisdes you? They could easily get immunity not by winning but only being in the top half, what moron would not want that except you? There are four versions (original, 1, 2a, 2b) of my system, all better then the current one. I just dismissed your only argument against one them, and you have no argument against the other three: 1) Keep the winning half immune but allow them to vote. 2a ) Have the one player who just misses the top half be immune (like the winners) but go to tribal and to the loser camp (to suffer like the losers). 2b ) Have the one player who just misses getting on the winning team go to exile island and avoid everything. "Problem" (unlikely as it is [if it even is a problem at all]) solved. Again. |

ArtieeLange1 wrote: Yes, but if Chet was the worst player of Micronesia, then what exactly is preventing him from going far under your system? You've yet to explain why one of the weakest challenge performers of all-time like Chet would ever be voted off, so long at the point of the game is to place better than other players in the challenges. |

Eek I can't believe I'm posting in this, but I absolutely agree with Kitty's posts. Why on earth would anyone vote out a weakling if the only way
to get to the "good team/tribe/camp/food" etc was to be the best if I happened to land in the losing tribe for that cycle of ousting? I'd always
vote out the stronger member in order to hope that at the next IC I would be one step up eventually landing in the winner's circle. No way would I chance
keeping an Ozzy (challenge monster) over a Chet. That's just ridiculous. If Ozzy messes up at a challenge and ends up at loser's circle there
wouldn't even need to be a "loser" alliance it would be a no brainer to vote his ass out making it possible for me to move up to the winner's
circle at the next IC. Hence you would end up with a passle of "weaklings" and a very very small few "challenge monsters". You
wouldn't even have to play strategically. Just vote out the strongest out of the losers and eventually all the strongest will get narrowed down as the
contestants got voted off.

tdugan333 wrote: Thats using your brain, tdugan333. Fortunately for the audience, the players who just did the best on the challenges have immunity, and the players who
don't can strategize against you as well, unless of course you have an alliance with them.

ArtieeLange1 wrote: Dude, he just said exactly what pretty much everyone else has been trying to tell you this entire thread. Under your system, there's no reason for people to keep around the stronger players because it negatively affects their chances of advancing in the game, so the weak will always band together to vote out the strongest player that doesn't win immunity. |
