not watching.. was there a bottom two... if so who was it?

At F3 there's no bottom two, just the announcement of who's making it to the Final Two, and the resulting boot.

Did it seem like Cook doesn't really care? He's so stone cold about the whole thing it makes me nervous (being a fan of his).
Also, I wonder whether not originally wanting to audition will end up hurting him. One more week to find out! |

I can honestly say I don't know who will win this. A lot of people will vote and watch because of that. Set up? Yeah.
DI has been right about who goes home for 4 weeks in a row now, right? |

Archie just doesn't have the charisma to be a star...

I gotta say, I feel kinda sorry for Cook when they're doing the cheesetastic group sings with the little dances. He looks awkward and well out of place
during those performances.
Otherwise, he does seem to me like he cares about winning it. He doesn't seem to be coasting to me. |

LOL at De-Chile unconvincingly (as usual) trying to put on a "Gosh, I'm...safe?" face.

I don't remember any season where the two people left look so completely miserable. God knows what this show must be like to work on.

BUT - kids are his audience. They don't post that night, I bet - they're too busy phoning up to vote, then it's off to bed. Little kids' lives are more structured than adults, so they don't get a chance to go online and yap the way we do. It's hard to gauge the numbers. But it looks like he does appeal to kids, so it's completely alien to us, really. Let's recall that many of the top 10 can find a career in music if they really want it. Being #1 isn't a guarantee of success any more than being #8 signifies certain failure. This year it's possible that the Idol will be for the teenybopper market, for once. Pukey, but ... meh who cares? |

How assy to play the oh so very uninspirational "Dream On" during DC's hometown visit footage. I wonder what Michael thought about that. My
eyes rolled into the back of my skull but that's just me.

I care, AMAI. Only insofar as I would never watch again if Archie wins. Two seventeen year olds in a row? And neither being the best? And if they lower the
age even further? What would be the point of watching for anyone who is an adult? Of course, I would still have my life if I never watched again, so it
really isn't that big a deal. :) But they WOULD have to change the name of the show to "American Tween Dream" or "American Tiger Beat(s
Off)" or "Telegaspers" or something.

I'm saying it right now and I really mean it this time. If David Archuleta wins American Idol I will never watch the show again.

I decided after last year's snoozefest I would never watch again. If it hadn't been for the mailman telling me our homeboy was in, I wouldn't
have. Cookie definitely made it worth it, but if he doesn't win, I'm pretty sure I'll be done.
