I'll defo be having a pie when it's back.
Oh and I don't think Anna has anything to worry about. I think most Brits will appreciate the dry humour, especially the narrator.

Yeah I'm looking forward to this show's return more than any other strike affected one (well this and Lost after this week) :)

Might have already been posted -- and I will space out the spoilers because I don't know how to do that fancy plus sign thing.
Here it comes: Fans of ABC's quirky fantasy-comedy-drama Pushing Daisies will find out who Chuck's real mother is, as well as an unexpected side-effect of her magical revival during the show's second season, according to show chieftain Bryan Fuller, speaking at the 2008 Paley Festival in Los Angeles. Loyal Pushing Daisies faithful packed the Arclight Cinerama Dome on the second night of the Paley Festival, which assembles the stars and talent behind hit shows to talk about their experiences on the programs and answer questions from fans. Let's get to the good stuff! Caution: SPOILERS AHEAD! • Season two will return in September with more intensity. Fuller said, "The first nine episodes were really a soft romance. Season two will come back a lot harder, with more aggressive storytelling."• Expect some awesome guest stars in season two. Fuller and company wouldn't reveal any of the upcoming guest stars, but they did mention some of their wish list, which includes: • We will find out who Chuck's real mother is, and it will have a big effect on Ned.• Tim Conway and Harvey Korman. Fuller: "It'll be interesting to see how the piemaker will try to control [Chuck's] trajectory after she finds out who her real mother is."• We'll learn more about Emerson Cod's (Chi McBride) family. • The show will have a soundtrack released in stores. • Season one will be available on DVD in September in the USA. The UK will get the DVDs in June. • Fuller offered advice to an aspiring writer who wanted to write a spec script for the show: "Write a stand-alone episode, and write something you would want to watch." • Ned and Chuck could not have a baby if they tried. Fuller: "I think the egg would die when the sperm hit it."• For fans of Chi McBride previous shows, The Nine, the actor revealed that he was behind everything on the show. (I haven't seen it, so I don't know if it's a murder mystery or what. But hey - spoiler!) • And lastly, the most intriguing detail: A side effect of being revived by the piemaker may be immortality. An audience member pointed out that Ned's dog looked pretty healthy for a dog of 20 years. The audience member wanted to know if the dog had stopped aging. Fuller: "Yes, that's possible. And Chuck may have a similar future." |

Didn't I read something about them not airing episode 2 in Britain? What's that all about?

They had space to only air 8 episodes so they just dropped one.

Oh. I thought maybe it was because of controversial subject matter or something. It's been so long since I watched episode 2 I can't even remember.

Episode 2 was the one with corpses hanging in some closet right?

Ned sees his power as both a gift and a curse, and it's illustrated with flashbacks to Ned's childhood which include dissecting frogs in school.Episode 2 ^ |

will is pulling your leg, probstie. it was discovered in the uk that if you play ep 2 backwards, it reveals the secret behind the "touch 'um once,
good for you; touch 'um twice, not so much..." mojo.
the fact that football playoffs begin exactly nine weeks after the uk pd season premier has nothing to do with this. nothing...

Aww I think it's adorable. Fits perfectly with the tone of the series.

It'd be better if it didn't look like two cardboard cutout figures chucked into the dirt.

I think it's cute. I wouldn't mind if they changed it, but I like it as it is.

It just looks like it is unfinished that's all. I think that it will look better on the actual box than in just that picture.
