her "Fever" was wonderful, and Simon knows it. She was amazing as usual. She has to know they are full of shit what they say to her each week when
she outdoes Pork every single time. Its ok for Fantasia to do "Summertime" which is "very old fashioned" but is raved about, and she does
"Fever" and its very old fashioned. Their canned, scripted lying is getting way too old, and I can't believe there is anyone left who buys it,
but then a lot of those viewers don't go to VFTW or here to learn the truth.

I've made it known that I can't stand her and think she's fake and affected (although she does have a killer body, I'll admit that), but even I
thought she was thrown under the bus tonight. She wasn't great by any means, but she was a hell of a lot better than Archie-boy, and as usual he was
overpraised to the extreme. Although I'm not holding my breath, I'm almost hoping that she'll beat out
Archie for a spot in the finals.

I thought she was fine on all three songs, and I don't think it mattered. She was going to be gone tonight unless one of the guys had a "Jason or
Brooke in the top 6" type of night, and neither did (even though Cook didn't have a great night and Archuleta's second performance kind of
sucked). She was sabotaged by the producers in being stuck with the silly penguin song, but Cook was sabotaged by Simon also, so she wasn't the only one.
And as I expected, the judges were careful to diss her only in a few cunningly selected spots (i.e. Simon's unfair blast at Fever) so it wouldn't look
blatant.
So I think it's the end of a long and successful stay on Idol for Syesha. She's lasted a month longer, and sang better, than anybody had expected. She set a new record for bottom 3 appearances. And she's now gone up against the two finalists and did better than both of them. She should be very proud of herself when she goes home tonight, and have a nice broadway type career to look forward to. |

If she goes tonight, are we going to hear she was robbed for the next week? People, get real. Even if she was great last night (which she wasn't...thrown under the bus or not), she's just not got the fans that both Davids have. I can't stand Archtard, but I know he's popular. Syesha isn't. It's no conspiracy, she's just not got the popularity. It's very similar to Kim Locke on F3 night, except Locke was outstanding that night. Syesha wasn't. It's a miracle she ever made it this far. |

Her chances of going Final 2 were slim to none, which I guess is why it's really appalling they still stuck her with that Happy Feet song. She was
certainly in Vonzell/Kim Locke inevitable 3rd place category.

Well tonight's the night I lose my Syesha. I know it's going to happen so at least I get a chance to compose myself instead of worrying and hoping
she squeaks through. Therefore I won't be as suicidal but I'll still be an emotional wreck, and I'll probably destroy my high def plasma screen by
throwing some object at it when the results are announced. She has had an AMAZING run and I'm going to try to focus on the positive even though a final 2
spot and the title of American Idol is rightfully hers after having so many OUTSTANDING miracle of God performances. At least I got three more performances
from her. She looked even more FLAWLESS than usual. OMG I want her now! :::pees:::
And what is happening to this forum? I thought I came to the wrong place and was confused for 5-10 minutes when I started looking around. I HATE the new raggedy ass colors. |

We should rename her Sabotagya. From Simon saying Syesha should have sung something current when she sang "If I Ain't Got You" earlier, to
Randy's "You're good at #3", to Paula's "I don't think you should go on", to the judges dissing the song that the producers
picked, to the judges overpraising everything David. I'm happy she made it 3rd because it is better than what I thought she would do. But I wish she could
have left on a better note and not this utter bullshit.
