I did, and I started to do the math--you know, my age less Cook's age * pi divided by the number of times Randy says "check this out" plus the fact that age is in your mind. And I am definitely not a cougar. Math is fact. And I just remembered--I had a drunk 29 yr old tell me I was hot, two 7th grade boys who thought my rainboots were awesome, and a couple of teen boy snowboarders tell me they wanted my apres ski boots. So I'm good.

To be fair to Simon, he has mentioned in numerous interviews that Cookie is his favorite, that he's the most talented, has the best voice etc. He even
called Billie Jean a moment he would never forget. I think he pimps Porkchop per TPTB's wishes, but personally would rather see Cookie win. My only beef
with him were the smug remarks, thankfully he's stopped sprouting that crap.
Loved the first song, meh on the second (and why was it so short?). Never liked IDWTMAT, and thought this arrangement was too much with the strings and guitars. Cookie sounded pretty good on it though. Dagny, Happy 10th Birthday to your little boy!! :) |

While I didn't love choice 2 or 3, I enjoyed them. But it was worth watching tonight for TFTEISYF. I thought it was just awesome, and I hope to god
it's the recorded version this week. If not, I'll still have the live version to download.
He made this Cooktard proud to be a fan from the beginning. I know the haters are out in full force now, which is to be expected. I hope he wins this whole shit at this point, but win or lose, I'm happy to have been a fan from day one. |

I can't believe that I actually enjoyed his last song and I hate that song with the intensity of a thousand burning nuns doused in kerosene. That's
talent.
I'm starting to think that Simon has always liked Cooktard best and his criticism of him seems to be more geared to pushing him towards doing better. It feels odd to be on the same side as the Moobed Wonder from Up Under (Scotland) but I still don't get the sense that Simon is ever trying to specifically throw him under the bus. Unlike Randy who apparently is grooming Gasptard to be his future pool boy. |

The problem with his 2nd song wasn't even that it was that sucky. You just needed to hear more of it. It left you needing more because it seemed too rush.
I wanted to hear Cook sing the whole thing. The chorus was really good imo and then it just kind of abruptly ended which killed it.
