On the positive side, now the AI5 people are relieved of the burden of having the worst top 3 show.
It's pretty odd when Antonella does a better job on Don't Wanna Miss a Thing than the star of the season. |

It's a talented Top 3. The problem is the schedule. Jason told us last week that he was having trouble keeping up. Their schedule is too hard, too long,
and it involves too much irrelevant crap. Cook's voice is GONE. If he weren't TCO, he'd have gotten comments like Jason did last week.

The mole threads are to celebrate the glorious return of The Mole. I think David C is the Mole.

You would fail the quiz. Paula Abdul is the mole. |

It's a talented Top 3. The problem is the schedule. The schedule is part of the problem, but Melinda and Blake still had some entertaining, competent performances last season. Top 3 has had some very good performances in AI2, AI3, AI4. The song choices from the judges and the producers were wretched, and the choices from the contestants weren't that much better. Archtard and Syesha still have most of their vocal ability, but the song choices were awful. Cook sounded off on almost everything and they told him he shit sunshine. He did the best he could. It's like the show wanted to have a lousy top 3 show. This whole season had potential to be so much better, and the show has ruined it over and over. |

Good lord, I missed half the season, but I'm supposed to believe that THIS is a top 3 in any universe?
Syesha fought damn hard, not that it'll matter. Too bad cuz I thought she was pretty good. (I was glad to come here and see that I wasn't losing my mind listening to the critiques of Fever) Is there anything that would sound boring as sung by Archuleta? Often there's very little wrong with his preformances, but I've yet to see anything right about them either. Having all the personality of a houseplant doesn't help either. David Cook hasn't been ON in week, that's unfortunate cuz he could have had this all wrapped up by now. Ya know what else is unfortunate? The only real interesting character of the season left last week. I couldn't care less about these three people. ~tari! |

Final 3 last year >PC singing "vista blues">Final 3 this year.
B-O-R-I-N-G. Last year was so much better, and a hell of a lot more exciting. |

Look, let's face it - there was a lot of damage done by that mishap with Paula's giving away the game, demonstrating that she works with her notes from
rehearsals. Now all their comments sound suspect, like they were formed at some other performance of the songs. Whether they're praising crap to the skies,
or dissing the good performances, it's a big pile of shit.
The success of a number of contestants has gone to their heads and they think they can do no wrong. Whatever they say, goes. I'm very disappointed in VFTW if they're backing Gasptard. |

I'm voting for Syesha. If she gets through she'll probably think we're voting FOR her.

What I don't get is why, if David Cook is supposed to be the rock god, why they made a big deal of showing Diane Warren, queen of overwrought ballads,
after the song from Armageddon.
Nothing says rocker like "Because You Loved Me"? |

James, he didn't pick the song. None of them picked their last song and shouldn't be criticized for the song selection, a point which the judges
seemed to have forgotten. I will admit that I didn't like the song DC DID pick for himself. And I'm a big fan, so I was disappointed.

I didn't mean to sound like I was criticizing David Cook for the Diane Warren bit. I know the producers chose the song (and a bunch of other lousy songs).
I just don't understand why, after months of telling us he's original, he's a rocker, they panned to a sappy pop writer at the end of his
performance. I know she wrote the song, but they didn't need to end on that note. It's so self-defeating on their parts and took away from his image
and what he's trying to do.

I understand now, and I agree with you. However, it was almost worth it as a Cook fan to see Diane's friend do the "I'm not worthy" bow at
David. One of the few things I enjoyed tonight!

whenever David Cook was standing next to Ryan after each of his songs, he looked pissed off. Kinda like he was just 'over it'. At first I thought he
seemed tired, but by the end I'm convinced he was very angry about something.
Did anyone else notice these things? |
