What's next? A final 4? It only looked crowded in Cook Islands and Fiji because of the ridiculously large juries. The return to the seven-person jury in China helped immensely. Granted, both CI and Fiji were terrible seasons, but can you imagine how much worse they would've been using the F2? Instead of getting a completely predictable vote between Becky and Ozzy/Yul, we got a 5-4 split between the two most dominant people out there. And a predictable but deserving winner in Earl, rather than having to pick between Dreamz and Cassandra. Part of the reason I think it worked so well in those two cases is that the players had it sprung on them at the last minute and couldn't plan for it long-term. Now that every player knows they're aiming for the final three, they'll have to play extra hard to try and get two goats there with them instead of just one. It requires a lot more pre-thought than just planning on taking out the best player at F3, and I, for one, don't mind watching it at all.

The final three is here to stay, and with the exception of a possible tie vote, I personally don't think there's anything wrong with it. Lesson learned: don't trust anything that comes out of Probst's mouth.

The entertainment industry gives out Producer credits the way banks give out Vice President titles. Everyone gets one because they are cheap to give and make people feel important. When push comes to shove there is one person making the decisions on Survivor and it ain't Jeff Probst.

It's the title "Associate Producer" that the industry gives out to everyone that's helping but not important whatsoever. the title "producer" in TV industry is actually the important one, coz they're the one running the show under the show runner.
