I do think Cristian is the better dancer between the two guys. I am sick and tired of seeing high scores for a guy (Jason) who always looks awkward and gawky
and really doesn't do anything on the floor while the girl dances around him. Kristy gets scored by a different standard than the others because she's
better than the rest of them and I don't think it's fair. Her tango was amazing. I don't think the choreography overall has been that good this
year. The previous year has always had exciting songs that have elevated the dances. This year, not so much.

I didn't say Kristi's tango didn't deserve 30, I said her second jive didn't deserve all 10s. I adored her tango.

If the definition of a lift is when a dancer lifts both feet off the floor with the help of their partner, then I'm pretty sure I saw three lifts in
Jason's dance. Would the judges detract one point for lifts or one point per lift? Regardless, none of the three judges mentioned the lifts and when
it's mentioned at the results show (which I feel they'll have to address it), no doubt they'll each say they must have been writing on their
notes/score cards at the time and didn't see it.
Has Marissa lost any weight since the beginning of the season? Marie had lost quite a bit during the last season, but she may also have been on the Jenny Craig (or whichever diet she was on) at the same time. |

it might have helped if she wore something that covered her legs, because I couldn't stop staring at her lower legs. Marissa must have pissed off the costume people. They keep giving her outfits to wear that are very tight around her upper and lower body. It's just not flattering look. I do think Christian is a better dancer than Jason. Hands down. But he still doesn't come anywhere any near Kristi. The previous year has always had exciting songs that have elevated the dances.I agree. The music has been uninspiring, to say the least. |

As much as this pains me to say - As the season's progressed, Christian has improved into a more fluid dancer, more interesting to watch, than Jason. I
love love love Edyta and want to keep her around as long as possible, but Jason just looks awkward. Is it his height? I noticed in his Paso that he kept
his neck bent downwards, it looked very odd, as if he had to watch his feet. And his arms look too stiff, Christian with one bum arm moves his more
gracefully.
Incredibly disloyal to say against my beloved Edyta, but it's possible that Cheryl is the better teacher or choreographer, to get such improved performance from her star. I don't want to see any of the other couples go before that fireplug Marissa though. Agree with whoever wrote that she must have pissed off the costume people though. Last night's rhumba dress was waaaaaay to short for her in the rear, which someone kind should have noted and addressed in rehearsal. |

Geez, I almost hate to post with all the Jason hate out here, but I love Jason. I thought his foxtrot was beautiful and deserved the scores he received. I
didn't think his paso was all that great, but he still got all of our family votes. My kids love that he is on this show and my middle son now wants to go
to dance lessons with his sister, because if JT dances, it must be cool.
As for the others, Marissa, I have never liked, her dances usually seem very rough and the make-up they used on her last night (and many other nights) makes her look so much older than she is. Kristi, I loved since the beginning, but I have not enjoyed her last couple of weeks as much as the earlier weeks. Maybe it does have something to do with the song selections, they had such great songs earlier in the season, I especially loved the dance to the John Mayer song. Christian is just the opposite, I didn't like him at all early in the competition, but I've loved his post-injury weeks, if only he danced with someone other than Cheryl. |

Just from watching the dances last night, my pick would be Kristi and Christian as the final 2. Even though I don't really like Christian and Cheryl. I am
really starting to not like Cheryl and she has always been one of my favorites.
Something I noticed in both their dances last night, is that Christian really didn't seem to be favoring his hurt arm at all. Except if you count the two times in the second dance where it was like he all of a sudden remembered it and put it behind his back to remind people it was hurt. It does make me wonder how much of them pimping him as the one armed dancer is strictly to get sympathy votes to keep him around. This show is so much harder for a female celebrity, as the focus is almost always on the female, and the female celebrities don't have the luxury of being able to just stand there while their pro dances feverishly around them, like the male celebrities do. Kristi is the best dancer this season, by far. No one even comes close to her. Hope she wins. |

Here's my take on the whole nit-picking on Kristi...She was "wow" right out of the gate. I think the judges thought someone would catch up and
be able to legitimately compete against her in the rankings. When that didn't happen, there was a judges pow-wow and they decided to pimp other dancers.
IMO, it's clear that Kristi is far and away the best dancer and the judges know it...but they have to make this look like a competition. How boring would
it be if Kristi was #1 on the leader board every week and then won? How anticlimactic. But this way it looks like someone else may win. Just my .02.

lifts.
I've been a big Kristi fan for years and years, and there's no doubt that she's the best dancer in the competition ... That said, I agreed with Len that her tango looked a bit frantic. There's no way the others can touch her though. |

They were allowed to do one lift per dance, if it was in the nature of the dance. Not three.

Last night they were told "no lifts." I missed Jason's lifts, so I can't comment. I wasn't paying much attention to Jason's whole
dancing. Yes, he's pretty.. but he's boring and not that great. Christian has grown on me and he has improved. I do believe that Cheryl is a much
better choreographer and teacher than most of the others. (Julianne is good, too, and the girl who was Joey Fatone's partner make the top 3 women in the
group.)
I think Marissa is going to pull a Marie and knock a guy out. Unfortunately, I think it will be Christian because he doesn't have the fan base. I wouldn't put it past the judges to low ball Kristi so that there's a true "competition." I really think she's only had one bad dance this season. AS for her hair, I gave her major props for continuing the dance and NOT letting it bother her.. both times it happened. That's very tough to do. Next time, they shouldn't make her wear sticky lipstick :) |

Ah, so it's not just me that is saying wow, Christian, where did you come from? I had Jason as my fave male for awhile but Christian is really growing on
me and he has definitely improved where Jason is still good but maybe Christian is just showing me how much more he has improved.
At this point, I am actually hoping Christian gets to the last round even though I love Edyta and it's about time she won but what can I say; Latin boy has grown on me. However, if Kristi does not win, shame shame. Her dances are just outstanding and I love Mark |

Christian has gotten really likable since the injury. Last night was the best I have seen him, and the way the crowd was cheering for him was giving me Helio
vibes. I have a bad feeling he might end up winning
And I say bad feeling cause despite him being my favorite of the ones left, I want Kristi to win just so the whole "a woman never wins" thing can end. I find her completely boring, but it's a boring season. So if she wins, we can have a clean slate in the fall and hopefully the show will get back to greatness. I'd love Jason Taylor to go tonight, but I doubt it will happen. |

Mark is my favorite of the pro dancers this season, but he does showboat like that annoying leprechaun from two seasons ago. However Mark can get away with it
because he's been paired with partners who can dance--Sabrina and Kristi--and because he's able to remain likable. Next season if he's paired with
an incapable partner (and it's his turn), will he refrain from showboating?
