well, let's think how casting and production would think -it's a gimmick, right? So I can easily see this as a way of bringing in more famous players and hyping it on the commercials- even if it doesn't benefit a the player they're playing for.

Borneo- just about any of the jury players -hell, I can see them wanting Rudy desperately on the show and promoting it -the RETURN OF RUDY!! Obviously, Greg for the gallons of ink spilled about Colleen and Greg's showmance; Gervase, Jenna and Sean just because they were probably calling productions every five seconds.

Outback -Elisabeth and Rodger are the two fan favorites- Jerri also could be heavily promoted ("Tina has conquered her biggest threat in eliminating Boston Rob -but can she conquer...JERRI!!!"- cue scary music) Mad Dog just because she's good TV.

Africa -luckily they're all gone -but let's say Big Tom was on standby- or maybe Brandon.

Marquesas -Sean (no doubt) -no one remembered Tammy, but I liked her coming back; Paschal, Neleh, Gabe on standby for Kathy?

This is great. I expect it to turn into one big horrific mess. It is thinking outside the box and why not -Gretchen is desperate. She could actually stir a whole lot of trouble if she has nothing to lose. I doubt she would actually try to turn the vote against Colleen -but would use that tactic to Colleen to nudge her. (I'd say if she were leaving, she'd be too worried about sabataging Colleen's game- and neither of them getting the money) -but this way is really good. One thing I hate, hate, hate is when people offer the final three placement to the needed ally. You don't do that -you offer them final two. And you take the other third person (Alicia) and both make the pact to the needed ally that you will both take said person to final two -it's a quid pro quo for all involved. (It's what Sean and Vee should have done with Kathy; and from Gretchen's logic what she and Alicia should do to Colleen) But people never do this.

In any case, I think this is going to lead to a lot of mix ups and a lot of jumping the gun and nerves getting the better of people. Gretchen might just stumble fuck into a favorably position. Or Alicia might screw everything up in fear and staying short term by voting out Gretchen.

oh no, I think it's written exactly correct. I was just on my soap box in general about how people never offer a sweeter deal. (Alicia and Gretchen, from Gretchen's point of view, says they are most likely fifth and sixth place -so they have to concede and take the person from AHI and both swear to take them to the final two- it benefits both of the KEKO, getting them more money.)

Gretchen's over-plotting might waltz her right out of the game- Colleen might be sick of it, and knows Gretchen is marked anyway, and won't balk at Gretchen being the next target. Tina and Vee might feel the same way with Gretchen putting too much of a bee in John and Colleen's bonnets. Of course this all works out well for John, who is ready to strike at final five against Tina, but Gretchen might make things easier for him.

Hmm, it's all right, I guess.

Kidding! It's 100% great. Not just because of who the two players are that the conversation is taking place between (that's a given with me) -but because every avenue is being explored that would happen with the six left. Everyone is playing within their full capacity within the realm of reason. And here's where it gets tricky -these people are making more money the further they get so sometimes I imagine it takes a little of the fight out of them- (gee, getting 85 thousand or a 100 thousand is practically the same as getting a million to someone young or used to making say 30 thousand a year- but that's a whole other issue)

My first thought is uh-oh, whomever gets written about at the beginning of the story winds up leaving- and with the first part posted a few days ago, I assumed it might be Gretchen's swan song episode (or possibly Colleen's) -but I believe this is safety for them. I automatically think Alicia could be the screw-up cog to this -but why? Would Alicia freak out and fear the tie and sell-out Gretchen and Colleen to John? Just to get one step further, and then be at the mercy of a John, Tina, Vecepia block in the final five? Maybe. But this just assumes that she's desperate and relying on John, but now that she has a possibly good hand, she can flip it and now John depends on her.

I always had the possibility that have Colleen wait until final six and use the tie/purple rock fear against Vee, John and Tina- file her knowledge away and strike then, but she makes the final two deal with Alicia/Kathy and Gretchen (the two Kekos that are left). But this was back when Rob left and I thought she was being left out of the loop. The dynamic changed, and I think John has made her feel she and he are equals going into final four vs. Tina and Vecepia. So having Gretchen and Alicia (possibly) do this makes a whole lot more sense from their position.

I don't know why but I love everytime there's a Vecepia/Colleen scene- it's always tense but it's always below the surface. And the use of Vee "creeps" Colleen out, is perfect. It's like Vee is doing her best, but knows her Jedi-mind tricks aren't quite working. I was beginning to think it might be really fun if these two stumbled/got stuck in the final two together which might have happened if the Ahi four stick together.

If Gretchen's plan gets exposed, it really can't be uprooted, can it? Vee and Tina really can't counter it with anything better. Alicia does the math and says to the whole tribe, sounds good to me chumps- I'm voting with Colleen and Gretchen. And Colleen knows now Tina/Vee will never trust her. Tina and Vee just work on John to force the tie, but screw it for John -if Vee or Tina leaves he still has options in his mind with Colleen and Alicia being there in the final five. (Thanks for being my shield/life preserver former winners)

I feel bad for Tina and Vee because they will always have smaller options than John and Colleen, and are locked in together by the logic and practicality that EVERYONE knows the two have to take each other to the end in order to win. They're both playing correctly (in my mind) that the only way to do it is to make John and Colleen feel they are equals in the Ahi four.

I'm excited to see what happens with Alicia now. She'll finally have something to do as a character. And finally, I'm hoping to see the Colleen/Alicia dynamic when these two talk. Why the hell wouldn't Alicia want to go to the final two with Colleen? She thinks she's smarter than her, doesn't get her game like Vecepia does, and knows she'll get the votes to win- and an easy way to get Gretchen (unbeatable) out of the picture while still being loyal to her. I still suspect Alicia will tell John, but tell him in a way, that's "Here's the deal, the three of us are going this way..." I think down the line Alicia might get a little worried that Colleen might choose Gretchen, and Alicia will continue to work with John, but who knows for now.

I don't know what is going to happen with the previous players coming back for the reward challenge, but I fully expect the winner of the challenge to impact the pyschological aspect- (Natch, if it is Greg who wins, it solidifies the Pagong final three deal -and probably just makes it more public for Tina and Vee to be worrying, while Alicia just grins at them both, "Pack your bags, guys!") -And can I just say, I'm so happy to see Sensei's version of Greg making a cameo- he's without a doubt the best created character in all of your work) -hope he wins the reward just to see him mindfuck Tina and Vecepia.

If this had been the real show, and there's a Colleen/Gretchen endgame -even with neither of them winning- Burnett would be all over it- thematically making it a full circle with Richard Hatch entering the game, and the losingest (that's a word?) tribe of Pagong learning the most from their mistakes- it would be his ultimate underdog story- and then having Greg come in at the homestretch for the pep talk -all the better.

Well, anyway, great storytelling, and can't wait for more -I hang on every word!

oh, and of course, the score card (most likey to win to least)

1. Alicia -dammit, how does this always happen? Could easily be the default winner from spite votes)

2. Colleen -just for being the best candidate with all the dynamics of making the final two as everyone's escape route (Vecepia, John, Tina, Gretchen and now, maybe Alicia?!) With a younger jury, she'd probably win, but not with this crew. A proud Rob being the excpetion.

3. Gretchen -because she's a dynamo in the challenges, and unbeatable in the final two. (once someone's out of the game, how can you be mad at her, or not respect her?)

4. John -because Colleen has guilt issues, he's not a former winner, and Alicia might still need him if she doesn't trust Colleen.

5. Tina -though most likely the target because Vee or John will flip in a heartbeat and Tina would force the tie- but if Tina ever made it to final two, despite the perceived outlook of never rewarding a winner again, she's damn good at presenting her case, and is excellent with words.

6. Vecepia- not that she's out next, but once Tina is out of the game, Vecepia most likely can only finish in second place at best, and to no fault of her own. Over two weeks of premerge poisoning from all-around liked favorite Kathy at Keko will have done her in even if she makes the jury. John will never vote for her again to get a million and show him up twice, and probably not Rob (I suspect Rob would vote for Tina over Vee. Actually, despite his final words, I suspect Rob would vote for Tina over most)- if she ever made it to the final two, I think she'd be the punchline for John and Rob voting for the other person in the booth and sticking it to her, just waiting to see her face when she loses, out of twsited joy and glee.

*And I know there are many clues for anyone to win or storyarcs, but it would be 100% fantastic if Colleen's reward with John comes back with John's strategic, calculated words haunting him, "But John, you yourself, told me it's just a game, why are you so angry?"

P.S. I had to roll a die last night to determine who the reward challenge winner would be in this episode this time around (since it will affect the immunity challenge and all). I got a laugh when I saw who it was going to be. You will enjoy it.

God, it's got to be Greg. And if not, then I give you full permission to cheat. (Maybe Burnett's production have blow darts -Tammy goes to make a move and then keels over; Varner makes a move and get a dart in the neck, Greg just looks around like, "How the hell am I the last one standing?" Probst: Buis wins!)

Oh, I know, I know. No worries, your integrity is intact. I'm just crossing my fingers for a Buis win for the pure entertainment. Can't wait to see who the six players are and what happens. (and I think I'm hoping for another Tina win at the immunity)
