Eek.... BTW, did you see the after-game slash some pissed off Dallas player put on Osgood? All Ozzy did was poke hime with the end of his stick and this
marauding ape slashed him across the face! And the NHL fined BOTH OF THEM.... figure that one out....

I didn't see a second of the Philly/Pitt game since the missus wanted to watch the Survivor finale.
Fucking Flyers. The one time I root for a Philly sports team and they disappoint me. Series isn't over yet but if the Flyers don't advance, the least they can do is extend the series and rough up the Pens so the Wings can take care of them in the Cup Finals. |

I won't for one major reason. Mind you, i DESPISE the Red Wings.
I'll root for them though based on the fact they are always contenders while the Penguins are perennial doormats that have been rewarded with high draft picks year after year after year. They are hockey's equivalent of welfare and are only competitive when being rewarded with the likes of Mario and Cindy. The rest of the time you only hear about them about folding, moving, etc. Fuck this talk anyway, we are FAR from being defeated yet. Tomorrow night they are going to get their heads kicked in. |

You make it seem like they were the only team to ever go through tough times. They had four bad years because they had a bad owner (prior to Mario) and a bad CBA. Also, everybody had a shot at Crosby. They got lucky with Crosby and Malkin, but what's the point of the draft if it can't help a struggling team become competitive again? Anyway, they have a lot of depth beyond those two, Ray Shero did a great job putting together the supporting cast. (PS - your irrational hate of Crosby only makes him stronger) (PPS - Sorry about Eric Lindros and sorry you guys sucked on a year with a weak draft. Good luck with James Van Riemsdyk) |
