A lot of people criticized her for double dipping at the time, but it looks like getting Natalie and Alexis on her side and forming strong relationships with them may have been the turning point in giving Parvati the game.


RNO: Do regret staying with Amanda and Parvati, or did you ever think you could build a secondary alliance to take them out?

Cirie: I tried to build a secondary alliance when Natalie and Alexis asked me to vote out Amanda. I asked them and said it would put me in a weird spot, if I go through with this, would you be willing to vote out Parvati? I got some "hmmm, uh." That's all I needed. I won't ask you again unless I see an opening. So I felt my best chance was with Amanda and Parvati. I felt like I made the right decision. I couldn't get anywhere with Natalie and Alexis, so I had to play it out.



RNO: How did you manage to make an alliance with Natalie and Alexis, then break it without either of them seeming to be bothered by it and both of them voting to give you the win?

Parvati: I think they liked me better than Amanda (laughs). I just bonded with those girls, we spent a lot of time together. I think they realized this is a game this is how it has to be played. You heard Alexis say that's how the game goes - I'm like really, that's how you really feel? You can tell who's there to win and who's there just to play. I think the Fans were there just to get the experience and the Favorites were really there to win.


RNO: Do you think it was your strategy or your social relationships - or a combination of both - that won the game for you?

Parvati: I think it was both. I think my relationships with Natalie and Alexis really helped me with jury votes. And I think Eliza and Jason respected my game play. Cirie was just my favorite person out there. I think she did a little bit of both. She and I had a very tight bond. I respected Cirie's paly and she was the one I wanted to play with the most. I knew she was supposed to go out first [on her season] and made it to the final four. I thought, "This girl has something going on, she's going to last. And we really clicked. That final three was sad.

In another interview, Cirie said she would have taken Parvati if she won the IC, and that Erik and Natalie wanted to take her to the end too. So basically Parvati was in the f2 no matter who out of the f5 went on to win the last immunity challenge. Has that ever happened before? Maybe Brian?

Everyone thought she was a goat with how she played the game, but her social game and willingness to own up to her evil from a strategical perspective proved she was a goat who could win. Also Amanda's consistently horrific jury performances. <3
