The thought alone makes me ill, now. I think now I try to eat so that the tastiest parts of a meal come last. When I eat pizza, I eat the crust first, then the very tip, then the rest of it where all the big pepperoni are (an exception to this is if it's stuffed-crust pizza). When I eat Pop Tarts, the nasty outside crust always gets eaten first. With sammiches/hamburgers/etc. the outside always goes first, and I eat the middle part last. Oh, and if I'm eating a full meal, I try to eat my least favorite things first, and I'll make a little pile of the delicious stuff off to the side, to savor for last.

If I buy a sammich, I open it up and even out the meat. eta: Also, while eating a meal, I eat the salad after the main course. As for the main course, I eat all of each thing all at once: potatoes, veggies, meat...not necesarily in that order. I also never drink anything until after I'm done eating.

Same with the end of a wrap sammich or even a burrito. applesauce in my mashed potatoes, fries get dipped in a milkshake (on the rare occasion I get either) and creamed corn on salmon patties.
