Its On Demand a week early. Which would make it spoiler material. Ill go back and delete. We should be using spoiler tags.

I'm a little bothered by the Lady Elizabeth suicide. I don't know if it's historically accurate, but regardless, if she was such a devout Catholic, why would she do that? To Catholics that's an automatic sentence to hell. |

With Henry's accident coming up, and it being renewed for season 3, you have to think they'll try to change JRM's looks somewhat in the 3rd season.

McWolcott wrote: You'd think so, wouldn't you? But with these writers, who knows? History says that when Henry met Anne of Cleves (after Jane died) she was so
repulsed by the fat old man whose leg smelled, everyone at court decided Anne was the homely smelly one. Since Cromwell arranged the marriage to keep the
Protestant cause going, it led to Cromwell losing his head.

This past episode it looked like they were trying to make him a bit bulkier.
Yesterday's ep was meh. JRM gave a stellar performance however. |

whoo... *wipes brow with that exaggerated motion* i thought henry was a goner there for a minute.
i did love how, upon awaking from his trauma, the first thing he did was... pull lady jane's "favors" from his breastplate and make love to it. henry upon learning he was not dead immediately was thinking of scoring some new pussy. but then again henry did not have to experience the dating scene as i did. hell, if i walked into a room and all my potential conquests would bow to the floor and exclaim "your majesty..." i might just think different too. i gots to go old-school here with henry. dude had it pretty sweet... |

Episode 19 is fantastic. I can't wait for the finale. I want to see Anne's daddy get what he has coming.

I hope they will finally put JRM in a fat suit come season three. By the time Henry was with boring Jane he weighed at least 290 pounds. JRM looks as if he
could run a marathon unlike fatass Henry who could barely walk from one end of the bed to the other without help.
Henry VIII dated: 1526:
Ain't he HOT... rockin' the pageboy look!
Getting fatter...

Tim Russert kind of looks like the real Henry, no? I don't know how I could feel bad for that bitch Anne Boylen, but I did feel bad for her last night. She is on the fast train outta the castle......... |

On another note, I always felt a little sad for Anne and it's not because of this historically inaccurate Showtime series. Overall, she was one of the most intriguing women of her time and still is. Furthermore, one of the greatest things that came out of this stormy relationship with Henry was the birth of their daughter, Elizabeth who was, undeniably, the greatest Queen who had ever lived. And one cannot deny that. Henry would have been extremely proud especially since England, under her command and reign, defeated Spanish Armada, and eventually England has long peace and prosperity. And who could ever forget her speech at Tilbury Camp to give a pep talk to her troops: "Let tyrants fear. I have always so behaved myself that, under God, I have placed my chiefest strength and goodwill in the loyal hearts and goodwill of my subjects... I know I have but the body of a weak and feeble woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a King!!!" Love her. |

Page 5 bump.
Very disappointed with the way it ended. They could have at least given us a shot of Anne without her head. Bastards. |
