That was a slightly anticlimactic ending to one of the better seasons of late. Not that I don't think Parvati didn't play a hell of a game, I do, I even would call her the second best player of the women that have won this game. But, somehow... Amanda or Cirie would have just been more satisfying. Oh, well. I don't even think Parvati thought she was going to win that... Plus, I'm kicking myself because, ONCE AGAIN, the most questionable member of an All-Stars cast won, and I ALWAYS say I'm going to place a bet on that person to win, and I NEVER DO.

I don't entirely know what it is that makes Amanda just not come across well to a jury. She's this tremendous threat on paper, in theory, but both times, she lost to competitors that she should have been able to beat. I don't know if it's that people perceive her as a bimbo, or she has a lack of charisma, or what exactly... but it's interesting that she's fallen short twice for much the same reasons, being unable to convert any of the swing votes that could have given her a shot. Maybe Ozzy and Amanda will go on Amazing Race and narrowly lose that, too!

So here's where Cirie REALLY screwed up: she should have cut a deal once Parv lost. Tell Amanda if she drops out now, she'll take her to the end. It was what would have gotten her to the final, and she'd have to take a gamble against a potentially tougher opponent. The handicap that Cirie had was that she hadn't seen Amanda's lackluster jury performance in China. If she had known that, she might have been more comfortable with Amanda as a final partner... she was totally planning to take Parv because she knew Amanda had Ozzy and James locked up. Poor Cirie. She's the Janelle of Survivor... just can't win that last competition to get herself into the finals.

And finally, WTF was Natalie's question? Was she calling Parv a whore, or hitting on her, or trying to be funny? Did Natalie have visions of her and Parv being the lesbian Rob and Amber or something?
