I didn't truly start hating him until the post-season bullshit started.
That opening ep was one of the best first eps, maybe the very best, and mostly due to Rupie. His duel with Osten holding the ropes was awesome. I always thought he was a big old guy, kinda out of his element, and I affirmatively rooted for him. Then came the roar and the sanctimonious Rupie that we know now, first appearing at the reunion. This was a good guy ruined by mediawhoredom. |

I didn't mind him too much during the premiere, but after it became clear that S7 was to be the 'Poopert Show' by about episode 3, I started to
hate him.
What really sealed the deal was his quote in episode 3 or 4, when he said that if this was a real pirate culture, Jon would already be dead. Then the roaring started. |

When he started pouting that TC when Trish and Jon plotted to get him out (thanks a lot Sandra) and then like grabbed Jon by the neck because he voted against
him. He should have been kicked out of the game actually instead of being given a million dollars for being a possessive, violent, delusional piece of shit. He
was a great character I guess but I still have no idea how people could actually like him past that TC when Trish was voted out (who was awesome btw, maybe
that's a subconscious reason I have for hating him!)

I hated him when he voted out Michelle and Shawn but he redeemed himself by voting out Savage and then voting Sandra Diaz Twine winner of Survivor Pearl

Honestly, I never really hated Rupert. I liked him just fine. I do hate the fact that TPTB tried to force us to love him.
But I just think its fun to make fun of him now. Poopert. |
