I also wanted to point out that the crowd at the Blue Springs concert probably over 10,000 since they started letting in people without tickets. I'm
afraid it won't look that big on TV though. The crowd was mostly in the bleachers and on the "grassy knoll" at the north end zone outside a
fence. The stage was set up at the south end zone and there were very few people allowed on the field itself where the stage was. Looked like mostly teachers,
the KC Chiefs cheerleaders and the high school band. The arena was filled to capacity, for sure. I guess they had a lot of security concerns and didn't
want us anywhere near the stage. He did give a great performance, though. I noticed both his mom and younger brother crying during the show.

It's nice to see someone on Idol who you can tell is truly gracious and thankful for each and every sign of support they are getting and are soaking in the
moment and fully being present in it. Good for Cookie, he's a top bloke.

Looking at his facial features in that second picture, I have to say that, had it not been for that lil' ol' Y chromosome, Cookie could have
turned out to be a very pretty girl.

Is this the best we can do in here--talk about DC's looks? I know it's the weekend, but this isn't AI forums. Let me throw this one out there--I am
fairly annoyed that every article about AI has the main picture shown one of Archie. And the recent things I've read continue to use the word poseur,
continue to denigrate rock oriented contestants, continue to talk about contestants who have performance experience WITHOUT talking about Archie's
experience as a singing pageant staple. Doesn't the media see and value the work Cook has put into getting as far as he did, and the diverse styles and
creativity he has used in the competition? It's beyond ridiculous. And any writer who says Archuleta is a better singer is an idiot. He is a very good
singer but not better than Cook. Period. Give them both the same song to sing and duke it out. Cook would win in a landslide. (Sorry for the rant but I am
beyond aggravated at the media right now.)

Thanks, cards. I know I shouldn't be aggravated, but I fucking hate the media who should be reporting and not trying to control public opinion. And I
don't think I have ever typed the word "fucking" in my life on these boards or elsewhere because I try to be a lady, so that tells you how
po'd I am.

Obviously, there is no question as to which of the Davids will have the greatest success and longevity, which is even more important than winning, IMO. |

Well, if it makes you feel any better Cook is now Vegas odd's makers choice for winning, at least according to this site -
oh and to keep it on the shallow end of the gene pool - he wears boxer briefs, lol. there's a vid of an interview on you tube where he gets asked
