If any of you guys are interested in meeting me in person and going to a game between Friday, June 20th and Thursday, June 26, I can do that. My wife and her dad are going to Colorado during that time and I'm not, so I have that period to do whatever I want. ROAD TRIP!!!

It's probably cause they're finally facing some good teams. And it's about time the Mets gave Johan some run support. 24 runs scored in the last two games. Now watch the Mets sleepwalk in the nightcap and make Arroyo look like Bob Gibson. As for the Phillies, I see their starting pitchers have been struggling to shut down the Giants offensive juggernaut.

I had a feeling that the Cubs might lose today, so I was psychologically prepared for my winning streak to end. It just seemed like it was going to be one of those types of day. However, those Chicago Sky chicks who sang during the seventh inning stretch, must have got the Cubs testosterone flowing for those six runs at the bottom of the inning. Z will have to do it on his own tomorrow since I won't be there, but Marquis and Lieber will have a little extra help on Monday and Tuesday. And Tuesday is Alfonso Soriano Bobblehead Day!!

And they can't point to his stats to prove that he's a good player, so they drone on about intangibles, and All-Star appearances, and World Series rings. Anyways, you lost me when you started waxing poetic about "intangibles," a la Joe Morgan. Yea, intangibles. He's short, white, fast, and not very good at baseball.

Sol, i think you're natural Cardiinal hate is coming into play. The man could flat out play the game. He played hard everyday, despite his size and somewhat lack of natural talent. That's what twisted's point was, and i have to completely agree with him on this one.

He can go a while doing bad at the plate, but he never gives up. He loves the game and plays hard every time. He grits it out and does his best. I think he is one of the few that play baseball for the love of the game, to make a difference, and thats what the fans love about him.
