I thought the Six that Athena pulled the gun on was Caprica Six. I could be wrong but I assumed that because Tigh was with her, that's the Six we were looking at. Plus, Caprica is the one who has dreamed of Hera in the the opera house so it would make sense that if Hera were drawing weird pictures of herself with Six, it'd be somehow connected to those dreams (and Caprica Six). No? |

I believe the Six that Athena pulls the gun on had longer, sandy blonde hair (like Gina or Natalie), whereas Caprica Six still has the platinum blonde.

Yeah, it was definitely Natalie. I think Tigh was with her cause they were escorting the Cylons on board or whatever.

I thought that ep was just as good as any this season --certainly with more plot movement, but still exploring that dark mystic vein that's running through
this and last season.
Anyhow, what are we to make of Athena pulling her hand away from the dying 8? That there's some sort of physical downloading possible? Or that Athena couldn't cope? |

Didn't they make a reference to Kara hearing the music or am I just crazy?

wants to distance herself from her model as much as she can. Thats the impression i got anyway.

There have been some great responses to last night's episode - it's the best of this season so far. I'm going to rewatch the last two episodes
tonight (and I promise I won't skip over any Roslin material.)
I too loved the scene with Barolay/Six/Natalie/Anders. It was pretty powerful. Tricia Helfer really is the most under-rated actress on the show. They make her out to be the bombshell but she's gotten really good at portraying the different personalities of Six and she's come so much further than the other actors when you consider their skill levels in the pilot mini-series. I was really impressed with Anders, too. He and Tori seem to balance each other out perfectly. Tori is so ruthless and Anders was quite compassionate. Anyway, it was sad to see one of his Pyramid resistance fighters bite it. Poor Barolay. She just screamed 'red-shirt', though, even more so than Sgt. Matheson. I so wanted him to touch the goo, though. I laughed when Natalie, Starbuck and Leoben were like, "They Final Five know how to get to Earth!" and Anders was standing there, looking like he was thinking, "Umm, not really..." I think I ended up skipping over the Roslin Emmy reel because the first two scenes were boring for me - it felt like filler. Oops! Have to make sure the main title names get at least a few seconds on screen! (Except Jamie Bamber.) Or, maybe I still have bad flashbacks to the David Duchovny "For Your Consideration" X-Files episode, The Field Where I Died. That episode alone make me cringe any time a character (in any show) gets an extra-emotional episode, because it's usually so melodramatic. Sigh. Still scarred by the X-Files after all these years... The Hybrid - love her. Her scream freaked me out. I have to rewatch to get her full prophecy, but it seemed like it tied in the Scrolls of Pythia prophecy about the dying leader (by mentioning the opera house that only Caprica, Athena, D'Anna, Roslin, Baltar and Hera have experienced) with Kara's destiny. Kara's a harbinger and will lead them to their end. A harbinger is just a sign or an omen, not necessarily bad, and the end can mean the end of their journey, so I'm going to remain optimistic. Also, in series news: June 13 will be the last original episode of the year. It looks like they're splitting up the season over two ten-episode years as originally speculated. that means we only have five episodes left this year.

Five episodes will be left?
"Stay tuned for the FINAL FIVE" episodes of BSG." Nice. |

Strange Flute, I read an interview with Katee and Grace where they mentioned seeing the script for episode 14 or 15 already, and that was a month or so ago (I
posted the link here a while ago. ) I've also seen links to casting sides for episode 18. For this season, Razor counted as 4.01 and 4.02, the April
premier was 4.03, etc. 4.12 will air in June, then 4.13 will air in 2009. They aren't keeping the actors on hold until next year because it won't
give them an opportunity to find other work and they want to get everything done before a possible SAG strike this summer.
And the Hybrid's full prophecy: Thus will come to pass: A dying leader will know the truth of the opera house, the missing three will give you the five who have come from the home of the thirteenth. You are the harbinger of death Kara Thrace, you will will lead them all to their end.

ok, that makes sense, thanks.
So the missing Three (D'anna/Lawless) has to be "unboxed", which has never happened before, am I correct? In order to unbox her, Thrace and her party of cylon rebels have to be on a resurrection ship with the Cavils, which will take some doing since they're headed back to Galactica, we presume. The Three will know who the Five are since she's seen their faces. |

" you will will lead them all to their end." I assumed when she said "them all" I thought she was referring to Cylons, and not all being
human and cylon.

Didn't they make a reference to Kara hearing the music or am I just crazy?Yeah, they did -- when I first saw it, I was all WTF! Was THAT the reveal?! And then it went nowhere. On further examination, it's too open for interpretation. As they were approaching the base ship, Kara says, and I quote from the closed captioning: This is it. This is the place. I can hear it." Leoben then says: "The unstruck music vibrates in all of us. Few can hear it. Kara's one of the few." I dunno what to make of this. Maybe he's saying she's a prophet, which we already know, and maybe he's saying she's a skinjob. Anders didn't seem to hear it, so maybe this was different music from the Dylan Watchtower summoning, so my bet is that the writers are yanking our chains. Further parsing the hybrid's words, it could be she's referring to Kara leading the F5 to their deaths, not all cylons. Anyhow, I guess Laura's going to be in the game long enough to figure out the Opera House issue -- hadn't she been having visions of it simultaneously with Athena? And this has something to do with the cylon babies, right? |

Non-spoilery episode update: On May 8, they were shooting day three (of seven) for Episode 17 - that means only five more episodes to be shot, at an average
of 8 days per cycle, so 35 days of BSG principal photography left.
Link with spoilery info blurred out (you can sort of make out the actors due to be on set that day): photo link |

Hmm, kinda boring episode for 55 minutes, then a KICK ASS last five minutes with two totally unexpected happenings. The best part of the whole episode --
Gaeta's beautiful singing voice!

I liked it. Gaeta's voice was a beautiful surprise. Loved seeing everyone on different sets (Roselin on the baseship was especially cool). |
