TASTE NOTHING LIKE GRAPES??? They don't at all, it's like a totally man-invented flavor. Not that I care, because grapes aren't that
flavorful and they kind of taste like apples in the first place. This is something I've perceived for a long time, but I'm having some
"grape" soda right now and it's really just astounding. I'd like to hear OT's thoughts on this matter.

Never had it. But I can add that 'banana extract' tastes more like fermented fig pus than banana.

Agreed. This is also true of peach flavoring, which is nasty, unlike peaches which are awesome.

Um....well.....white grape juice kinda tastes like sugared grapes...which is fine. And purple grape stuff sort of tastes like Concord grapes...a bit. I think
you have a point, though.
The only grape candy that actually tastes like the real fruit comes from Japan. The brand is Kasugai and it's the best-tasting gummy candy IN THE WORLD.
