Yeah I don't know if it's confirmed. It seems like an odd choice for American Idol so I don't know if they'd pick it for him. Especially in a
season where people are loving it when contestants do pro-American songs.

Did y'all catch Cookie's performance of Foo Fighters's My Hero? Wow that was amazing. I wished he did it on the show like he said he was supposed
to, that would have been another great moment for him.

Thanks for posting that, Blur. I see him in interviews and such, and maybe it's because I like the guy, but I do not get any arrogant or smug vibe from him
at all. He seems really down to earth and appreciative for it all. Great interview.

Big red ecks seaguy.
Everything I've seen suggests this guy's generally a very humble and grounded person. During the parade earlier, he got so overwhelmed by the crowd's adulation he had to stop and collect himself before he could continue walking. Sure doesn't seem like someone who thinks he's the shit. Hell, I got more arrogant vibes from Taylor Hicks than from big-noggined Cook. Mazey, sorry you couldn't make it. I'm pissed off at Fox KC for showing me a picture of a sunset instead of Cookie throwing the first pitch. Damnation. |

will stream, but it might.

Mazee--I hate to break it to you... I've seen a few things, and it looks like the tickets were strictly to raise money or control things a little. They
never collected them at the stadium and pretty much let everyone in.

Hey everybody, I got to go to the concert yesterday! I got some pictures, but I was sitting the the stands at the football stadium, so I was pretty far away. I have some better pictures that I am sending them to Mazee to post (I am too stupid to know how!) The woman that took these has a great camera and she managed to get really close. Also, her daughter is a good friend of David's from college and she got to meet him at graduation. |
