Very cool, deliverance. I PMed you back. :) managerr - I thought we were supposed to learn more about Libby through someone else's flashback and I was also under the assumption it would be this season. She has some connection to the Widmores, right? Or was that spec? Maybe even gave the sailboat to Desmond because someone asked her to. (or she actually knew what would happen, but did she know she too would crash on the island.. so many questions..) One big question is why she was in the hospital. Anyway, I'm rambling. I am guessing she was flown to Hawaii for that short appearance but hoping she'll show up again in the next season so we get some answers. Maybe we'll have an off-islander flashback (Penny? Charles?) in season 5 that ties up those loose ends. |

The timeloop theory is an interesting take on the whole mass of unanswered questions that is LOST. However, I'd like to think of myself as pretty well
versed on the details & timeline of the show, and I got lost (to use a pun) when reading through the theory. That is a heck of a lot to explain to the
average viewing audience in 40 minute segments over the course of the next two years in the 35-40 episodes we have left. With the "Remember when we used
to celebrate birthdays?" I'm liking the theory of time repeating itself on the island every 108 minutes, but not that everything is related to
"Ben's original timeline of up until the year 2007".

Okay, so I sort of suck at the will power thing and am now full on spoiled to the core.
So, my thoughts on the time loop theory (which I think is probably pretty darn close to what the hell is going on) and the frozen donkey wheel in the finale: 1. if the island is going to move again then it is going to move through time vs. pulling up stakes and having everyone paddle it to another location 2. what time period (year) is it going to move to? 3. could the movement stall? could the movement stall in present off island time? (the creators have said that the flashes are going to end and everyone will be on the same time) is this the way to do it? 4. is Keamy and crew going to have something to do with throwing a wrench in the works to freeze the donkey wheel that allows the island to jump time periods? I know that Ben is in the last scene of the finale that he shot last week. But I also read that Sawyer has a secret scene as well. If the island does jump to the present off island time then it is possible for him to get off the island. Is he going to be the reason that Kate will agree to go back? She seemed completely uninterested with Jack's drunken plea at the end of S3 in Through the Looking Glass. |

I don't understand any of this time loop stuff. Just wanted to say welcome to the dark side, Kimberly. :)

1. if the island is going to move again then it is going to move through time vs. pulling up stakes and having everyone paddle it to another locationI think they move it in time. As for what time, I'm not sure. Ben has had the benefit of knowing everything before it happened because he has been in the future for so long. Remaining in the future would keep that advantage. If they move it too far back in the past, a bunch of dead people are going to be back. They better hurry up, they decided to do this just as Keamey's copter showed up. |

Filiming WTF?? | ||

They are filming at the same funeral home as end of last season when Jack went alone to the funeral home and no one else was there....Kate's response as to
why she didn't go was "Why would I go?" as if she hated the person in the coffin. Now, they are obviously filming the final episode for this
season, same place and the only star to be seen...hold on to your hats....is DESMOND! in suit and tie, hair pulled back...it couldn't possibly be Desi in
the coffin could it? That makes no sense! Oh yeah, right, this is LOST...but if it is Desmond in the coffin, what could he have done to piss Kate off so
much? Why did he die alone and no one cared....he wasn't one of the Oceanic Six...so much to ponder...
Aloha again folks! |

The spoilers I have read say that it is either Ben or Michael in the coffin. I can't believe that it is Ben simply because he has so much more story left
to tell. My money is on it being Michael.
So, I would think that Desmond is safe from being the star of that funeral at the very least. |

They could just rotate the island, causing the bearing needed to access it to change. |

Little wonder Scree is my YukuCrush. One line that actually makes sense to me... kinda gives me tingles in all the right places.
Aslans - calm down. Desmond ain't gonna die. Very interesting that he's at the funeral home, but I can't think of any scenario that makes sense at ALL. Why would Kate be indifferent? Why would Jack say he's not family or a friend? Why would he even be buried in the states?? I'd be shocked shitless if such a popular character was killed off. He's also too connected to the Widmores to be *poofed* away. |
