omcod i cooked the best rice ever last week. i usually buy the instant rice because the real rice is hard to cook. or so i thought. it came out fluffy and it
was ever so tasty!!!! i love rice!!

I was just shopping and bought a 10 lb bag of rice. But as I was checking out the cashier asked me if I was stocking up. She said they were about to raise
their prices and limit sales.

no one complaining about the price of food lately? Shit! Prices have doubled in my local grocery store. I couldn't believe what little food I got for
$90.00 - and I'm a very thrifty shopper!
Oh, and they were OUT of rice. I think I'm gonna start clipping coupons. |

I got free rice today! 2 kg. of Basmati.
when something scans wrong at the cash here, if it's less than $10 you get it free. My rice scanned at 5.49 and the shelf price was 4.99. YAY I won't starve now!! |

I had the most delicious saffron rice at the Indian restaurant the other day.
I think it was either Jasmine or Basmati. |

I was thisclose to trying the butter chicken as I've heard nothing but raves for it. But I did try the sauce, it was really good. They had this dish that I liked, looked like meatballs but made of chickpeas and some other legumes. There was also this veggie dish, it tasted like it had coconut milk in there. Awesome. For dessert they had mango pudding. I died and gone to Heaven. |
