English and Tagalog are the two national languages of the Phipsipines, is your Tagalog as awful as your english?Well, more than 60% of our people speak Tagalog rather than English. During the American colonial period here in this country, Americans introduced English language to Filipinos with a thinner of Spanish accent. More than 100 of our people were Spanish speakers and local dialects.
I speak Tagalog at home country and I speak English sometimes. Well, I speak English along with foreigners visit the country and also in other countries. I visited two countries for the last three years, Singapore and Thailand. I speak English to the locals. Singapore is a country that I understand English. In Thailand, many Thai people speak few English including my travel guide (who speaks more English) during my vacation with my parents last November 2006.
