But seriously. Having Locke become a complete disbeliever just because of the PEARL videotape is shitty writing, especially since he still has the use of his legs. He always had a faith in the island, and it all goes away because of a videotape? Realistically, he and Rose would've had a conversation about being healed and his faith would not be completely diminished. Realistically, after dreaming that he was Eko and seeing Yemi, he and Eko would have had a conversation, where he would've likely learned about the origins of the plane. Realistically, Eko and Locke, having both seen the black smoke would have shared their experiences in an effort to learn more (something they both have an interest in).

Really bad form to make the characters act unrealistically despite the island being strange and unusual. A show like LOST can still be character-driven even if the setting is such where gravity doesn't exist and 2+2=5.
