Not exiling Natalie or himself.
Taking Amanda, which pissed off Nat, then plotting to boot Amanda.
Not realizing he was a lock to win if he made it to the end against two Faves (Chris, Danni).

Erik's gameplay was retarded on so many levels.

Well Jenna gave it to Heidi, but Christy's stupid comments made the move not really matter.
And Burton gave it to Rupert because he was already immune. That being said, this episode showed the great strategy of Amanda, Natalie, and Cirie. Amanda being able to convince Erik to send Parvati to Exile and take her on Reward is absolutely unbelievable. She has a side of manipulation that we didn't see in China. And then Natalie and Cirie with Erik and the Immunity Necklace was amazing. They actually managed to convince him that giving it away would be good for the jury, despite the fact that he knows they have been gunning for him. He basically did it on the whim of "might as well take a shot." Tribal Council was great, between the altercation between Amanda and Erik and of course Erik giving the Necklace away and the reactions of the jury. They had to show everyone's vote because they were all just stunned. Their voting confessionals were great. So now we're left with a Final 4 of Natalie, Cirie, Parvati, and Amanda. I gotta say they're all deserving, they all did certain moves to get them farther in the game. Which isn't something you can say about most Final 4's. Should make for an exciting finale! ETA: Something tells me they couldn't Exile themselves. Whether it's the producers realizing people could do that after Yau did it or the fact that Erik couldn't give away the trip he won, while Yau just won the car when he did it. |

For a huge fan, you'd think Erik would have been a tad smarter.
I'm also disappointed with the girls for their piss poor performance in the reward challenge. Parvati couldn't even get ONE right?? And I thought Amanda has been a fan for a long time? But great episode. Cirie was amazing. <3 |

I didn't know whether to laugh or to cringe just because of how humiliating this must have been for the guy. It's not like he's some guy Erika
Landin approached in a bar to be on the show and couldn't have cared less about being voted out. Being on Survivor is something he's been dreaming
about since he was a kid, so you know the game was important to him. I guess the only excuse he has is the fact that he's one of the younger contestants.
Because no matter how you look at it, what he did made no sense at all. You'd think he'd notice that the women had blindsided all the other guys on
the jury, and not only is he the only left, but he's been dominating the challenges. Why would he even listen to anything they said to him? Why would he
just there and let Parvati guilt trip him about making mutually exclusive deals without realizing what a huge fucking hypocrite she was being? No matter how
comfortable you get in the game, the only time a player has any peace of mind is when they're wearing the immunity necklace, which becomes more valuable
with every round. The idea that somebody would give that up without really being promised anything in return is simply baffling. This guy was one immunity
win away from possibly being another Chris, and single handedly dismantling a formidable alliance of women. Instead, he ended up a disgrace, a laughing stock.
What a waste.

My mistake. Still, it's pretty pathetic.

Cire/Parvati where on a season with a challenge monster that got to the end. So I assume that is why they wanted Erik gone. Erik telling everyone a different story didn't help his case. |

Yeah, you can't really compare Burton's move to Erik's. It was actually probably better for him that Burton gave immunity to Rupert than if he had
just hoarded them since he was immune already and DID have something to gain while having nothing to lose.

I can't decide what is worse. Erik giving away immunity, or Erik not knowing that Richard's shark bite was in All-Stars. Come on, dude, for a Survivor expert that was ridiculous. |

Yeah, even my mom knew that one, and she didn't really get many of them right either.

yeah, those questions were all painfully easy. how did nat and erik not get them all right?

I wouldn't call Jenna/Burton's moves as bas as what Erik did. A dangerous swing vote was booted in Christy. Burton was already immune so he was trying to gain an ally.I wasn't saying that. I was actually saying that Erik's was worse than Jenna and Burton. Jenna's was fine because Christy left anyway because of her comments. Burton's was fine because keeping Immunity would otherwise make him seem selfish in a game where he just returned and needed to make another good impression. I was trying to say that Erik's cannot be comparable to the other two because he put himself right in the line of fire by giving up the necklace. |

Why does the preview for Sunday say that there's going to be 3 Tribal Councils?

^ I'm trying to figure that one out too. I believe China's preview said three TC's as well, though one was the America's TC where James was awarded $$. I don't think Sprint's Player of the Season is equal to that ATC, though, so I'm not sure if it'll be three in-game TC's. |

China's preview did say three tribal councils, but the finals started off with five players. Here it says three tribal councils, and there are only four
players left.
