Not that they stand any chance of winning this but Melissa and Kalan are among the nominees thus far for Alberta's Greatest Citizen. If interested you can vote for either of them to make

Went to Brian's website on a whim and amazingly he's got lots going on at the moment
(well for a Canadian Idol winner that is). He's touring in Ontario, Alberta and BC for most of June and just released an accoustic ep on Itunes. Also he
performed a set recently at the Orange Lounge which can be viewed online.
Kalan and Hedley have performed at the lounge too. So it's not all bad news with Brian I guess.

Miki, it's not thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat bad. It might be but maybe by some miracle we'll get a group that's half as talented as CI2.
Probably not but I can hope.

Well, last year I totally gave up on the season, after Gregorilla got booted and Brian was the best remaining contestant, which said something about the
collective mediocrity of that group. However, I'm willing to submit myself to more brutal torture in the hopes that CI6 will hold up the trend of the even
numbered seasons: someone that I actually like who actually does well in the competition. Here's hoping...

A collection of mediocrity is probably the best way to describe last season. Nobody was truely awful but nobody was really amazing either. Unlike other seasons that have a top 10 full of a few amazing people and the rest crap. I don't know what's worse really. Season 2 had some amazing people and mediocrity but no one truely sucked. |

I have faith this season. Remember CI3 was a terrible season and everyone's expectations were really low prior to CI4 and when CI4 aired, it was generally
well-liked.
Then CI5 came, started off with a promise, but got progressively worse from there, and after that shitfest, we're back to square one. |
