I've tried to keep my Cook hate to a minimum. I do have to shamefully admit however that I do like Archuleta and have since the beginning. But Michael Johns was my favorite.

I think he'll have a much better album than if he finishes in 2nd. I think (naively probably) they'll do a decent job if he wins. We'll see I guess. But yeah, I want him to go all the way because I think he deserves it way more than Archtard. I know you think they both suck, but objectively he's the better musician/artist than Archtard is, and if they are the two choices, they I would say he definitely deserves to win out of the two. I haven't been a big fan of his stage performances but I've actually liked most of his studio recordings (especially "Innocent" and that's because I hated his Idol performance of it and the OLP version. Go figure.). I like a lot of the other contestants studio versions too. IMO, this year's crop, while not having the best personalities or being as entertaining as others in past seasons, have pretty decent voices for the most part. I think a few of them have the potential to put out some good albums if they work with the right people. Some of them just stayed longer than they should have and that increased the hate. If Castro had left a few weeks ago and not made it to top 4, I wouldn't have disliked him so much. Anyway, I'll quit hijacking the thread and let everyone go back to hating. But if I think Cook sucks next week, I'll be back.
